Cu ceva vreme-n urmă KiMO vă povestea �ntr-o stire, că cei de la Midway intenţionează să lanseze un nou joc din seria Mortal Kombat �n care vor fi incluşi şi super eroii de benzi desenate. P�nă acum, dintre apărătorii dreptăţii, au răspuns provoc�rii Superman, Batman, Cat Woman şi The Flash. Elementul nou de care vom avea parte �n joc va fi mid-air combat-ul. Adică puteţi căra pumni adversarului �n timp ce vă aflaţi �n cădere liberă.

Zvonurile care prevesteau apariţia eroilor din DC Comics �n următorul joc Mortal Kombat s-au adeverit! Intitulat Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, jocul a fost anunţat oficial la Las Vegas, cu ocazia celui mai nou event Midway, iar primul trailer �i �nfăţişează pe Batman şi unul dintre veteranii "�ngheţului" din Mortal Kombat căr�ndu-şi pumni �n prostie.
