Pai sigur va avea elemente proprii seriei.

Seria a inceput in 1986 pe platforme ca: Comodore64, Amiga, MSX, NES. Pe parcurs avand mai multe avneturi pe platforme diverse: SNES, Saturn, N64, PS1, PS2, Xbox, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance (aici se afla perioada mea preferata), TurboGraph FX, Sega Genesis, Nintendo DS, Wii, PSP. Sper ca am atins toate platformele. A, sa nu uit, a avut si pe PC versiune pe vremea MS-DOS-ului. Pacat ca a ocolit Gameboy Color, GameCube, Dreamcast. Oricum, a ratat putine platforme, lucru deloc de neglijat. Din punctul meu de vedere este o serie bine infipta in istoria gaming-ului.

Faptul ca acum vom avea parte de un nou joc al seriei cu grafica HD, nu poate decat sa ne bucure (in special pe fanii seriei ce au urmarit pas cu pas orice miscare, aparitie, dezamagire si bucurie furnizate de serie).

Ma pot mandri cu o mica colectie a seriei. Pot spune ca am jucat 90% din toate aparitiile si nu as avea nimic de reprosat. Poate un pic la editiile pe Nintendo 64. Mai ales la Legacy of Darkness, i-as da o nota mai mica. Se poate sa fie si din cauza nejucarii la timpul lui (l-am ratat).

Astept cu interes lansarea jocului si le urez succes producatorilor.

Castlevania Dev: Move 'Too Gimmicky' | NowGamer

In a NowGamer interview, Konami Producer Dave Cox has revealed that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow developer MercurySteam turned down PlayStation Move integration in the game.
Cox explained, "We were given access to Move a few months ago, to test with the game. We looked at it but we felt that, at that point in development, it would be more of a gimmick than a feature. So we decided against using Move. Purely because we want a game in which you can take the combat seriously. As you’ve seen, the combat is quite deep and waving the PlayStation Move around the living room just wouldn’t be right. I think it would be a cheap marketing ploy."
Lords of Shadow is a forthcoming reboot of the Castlevania series, developed with the input of Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima. It is a non-canonical take on the series that looks set to do the franchise justice in 3D after previous attempts to modernise the brand fell flat.

Voice recordings completed for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is one step closer to completion. David Cox recently revealed, via the game’s official Twitter, that the voice recordings for the upcoming action-adventure game are “now Complete!!”

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow features a star-studded cast that includes Robert Carlyle as Gabriel Belmont, Natascha McElhone as Marie and Sir Patrick Stewart as Zobek. The latter of which is also the narrator of the first trailer from the title.

The Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 game will be released later this year.

Nu inseamna ca orice joc care are bosi mari este copie dupa GoW3. Sunt sanse ca Lord of Shadows sa vina cu poveste ceva mai buna decat "Kill everyone". Plus ca la platforming pare sa aiba ceva mai mult potential, grafica mi se pare mai ok decat la GoW3 prin simplul fapt ca are si ceva culoare, nu e totul desaturat.

Nu inseamna ca orice joc care are bosi mari este copie dupa GoW3. Sunt sanse ca Lord of Shadows sa vina cu poveste ceva mai buna decat "Kill everyone". Plus ca la platforming pare sa aiba ceva mai mult potential, grafica mi se pare mai ok decat la GoW3 prin simplul fapt ca are si ceva culoare, nu e totul desaturat.

You can say it again, jocul cu siguranta va avea un super story, totusi e facut de Kojima si ar face bine sa fie bun (cum si ReNeGaDe124 a spus). Si mie grafica mi s-a parut mai bun de la primele trailere prin simplul fapt ca e destul de colorat, are ceva verdeata si nu numai.

PlayStation LifeStyle - Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Info Arises From The Darkness

After many failed attempts, developer Mercury Steam looks to successfully translate the 2D world of Castlevania to consoles this Fall with Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, with the PS3 version being the lead platform. Not much is known about the game, but all that has changed as official details arises from the darkness.

During their press conference, Konami has unveiled more official details on their upcoming title, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Unveiled by Dave Cox, the game will be arriving this fall.
