Castlevania: LOS confirmed to be 720p and 30 fps
While not earth shattering news, it is nice to know for a fact via producer David Cox’s twitter that Castlevaia: Lords of Shadow will be 720p and 30 fps. Hopefully this will be locked for both platforms. Castlevania: Lords of Shadows made our list of best games of E3. No release date has been announced yet but GameStop and GAME are listing it for an October release on both the X360 and PS3.

Konami’s told Eurogamer that talk of an October release date for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is just “speculation.”It comes as PS3Vault was carrying the release timeline for the game alongside its box-art.No exact date was mentioned at the time, although expect everything to be clear next month in Cologne at gamescom.It’s being developed by Madrid-based MercurySteam, with Kojima Productions overseeing the work.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow producer Dave Cox has revealed to XBW 360 that the game will ship with two discs on 360 compared to one Blu-ray on PS3.
He went on to add that Lords of Shadow will be a day in length in order to complete it, saying the longest cut-scene for the game is 14 minutes: the ending.
�Our longest one is 14 minutes, which is the end sequence� The game�s around 24 hours long and every level�s different. We have so much variety and we re-use very little assets.�

Gamerzines has outed a Collector’s Edition for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, retailing on a Mexican retailer.The CE runs in at $ 1,290.00 Mexican pesos (�65) on GamePlanet, and features the game itself, as well as an art book, the soundtrack and “a bespoke cover”.According to GZ, the CE is also listed on GameStop and EB Games’ websites in the US, although there’s nothing on UK sites.We’ll email Konami for comment.Castlevania: Lords of Shadows releases this fall for PS3 and 360.
