The Kinect has been a financially questionable device for Microsoft up till now. Microsoft has found a way to sell Kinect to millions of teenage girls.. or boys with the help of none other than young singing star, Justin Bieber.

From the looks of things the Kinect is in serious trouble. The reported price of $150 for the Kinect is 50 dollars higher than a Playstation Move bundle at Gamespot.com that includes a Move controller, the EYE camera and the game: Sports Champions. Add to that the report that the Kinect can only handle two �active� players at a time, whereas the Playstation Move can handle seven, the Kinect may very well go the way of the Kin and be trashed by Microsoft just a couple months after release.

Rumour � Kinect branding outed

Kotaku�s obtained what appears to be the boxed branding you�ll see when Kinect launches this November.The picture shows branding for both the motion camera separately, as well as the hardware bundle containing the camera and 360 Slim.Kinect will launch on November 4 in the US, with no date set for Europe yet.No price for the tech has been confirmed in either region, but it�s set to be announced next month at gamescom.Speculation is pointing at prices from �130 to $150.
