LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack detailed a bit more, landing September 14 | VG247

Media Molecule has put out a list of what to expect with the LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack when it lands on the PS Store�s virtusal shelves September 14.

The pack will contain five story levels and seven side levels, including Rise of the Cakeling, which features a �rouge cake threatening doom and destruction, and you Sackfolk must once again attempt to restore peace to Craftworld.�
To do this, you can use A new toy, The Brain Crane, which is a new powerup that allows you to control objects with the power of your mind.
Included in the DLC is also a new suite of creative tools to create Move games, record fluid motions, and paint stickers. Speaking of which, there will also be a �boaatload of new stickers, materials, decorations, costumes, music, sound and sequencer objects.�
The Move Pack also brings backwards compatibility with LittleBigPlanet 2, which was announced eons ago, and allows you to play through all of the original story levels from the game, and the 5 million community levels using Move.
Here�s some extra details in a nice bullet list, because, you know we love bullet lists:

• A brand new story for LittleBigPlanet 2 � The Rise of the Cakeling with 14 new levels (5 levels, 7 mini games and 2 cutscenes)
• A new powerup for Sackboy: The Brane Crane

LittleBigPlanet 2 v1.06 Update Brings Exciting New Content and Potential | PlayStation LifeStyle

When we gave LittleBigPlanet 2 a 10/10 earlier in the year, we weren’t only thoroughly impressed by its charming style and fun gameplay, but its ability to continually evolve by offering new experiences through patches and user-created content. Since then, the game’s offerings have nearly doubled with millions of new community levels, and new game experiences. On top of it all, a humongous new patch has been released, ensuring that LittleBigPlanet 2 will provide even more entertainment for millions of fans.
The latest patch has been released for LittleBigPlanet 2, and it’s a whopper. Weighing in at 658MB, the v1.06 patch adds a variety of new features, such as:

• PlayStation Move control support
• New controls
• Angle Sensor
• Speed Sensor
• Rotation Sensor
• Player number minimum/maximum editor for levels
• Slice and Dice tool
• Color and transparency tweaks for Water projectile
• Bounce Pads can now be tweaked to only bounce upon button press
• Magic Mouths now can now be named
• Triplet rhythm note placing

These additions add a plethora of new options for level creators, and we’ll be sure to see some new ideas translated into reality with the latest levels. Also, the LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack will be releasing next week, and will provide new story levels, Move-related gadgets, new music and sounds, additional costumes, and a host of other new material for fans of sackboy. Hopefully this isn’t the “awesome” thing Media Molecule was teasing.
If you haven’t put LittleBigPlanet 2 in your PS3 since earlier in the year, now is a great time to come back and enjoy some of the game’s many creative new levels.
