    Xbox360Achievements.org - Xbox Live To Be Discontinued For Original Xbox

    As of April 15th 2010, Microsoft has decided to discontinue the old Xbox Live service for the original Xbox.
    This will not only include Xbox Live connectivity for all original Xbox games, but will also extend to any Xbox Originals you may have downloaded for your Xbox 360. Boooooo!
    Major Nelson comments on his blog, "...this change will allow us to continue evolving the LIVE service with new features and experiences that fully harness the power of Xbox 360 and the Xbox LIVE community."
    So that's that then. If you've any unfinished business online on your old Xbox games, you'd better sort it quick. Well, before April 15th anyway.

    Am facut rost de un Xbox clasic la pachet cu un controller si 2 jocuri (Juiced si Pandora Tomorrow). Juiced e fun si il joc destul de mult (desi l-am jucat deja de o gramada de ori pe PC) dar Pandora Tomorrow nu ma atrage deloc. La fel ca orice alt Splinter Cell. Saptamana viitoare trebuie sa ajunga un Doom 3 si peste vreo doua saptamani, un Burnout Revenge prin BodoPSX. Can't wait
    Am luat consola (150 lei tot pachetul, in stare foarte buna de functionare, cu putin jeg pe controller) din curiozitate si pentru ca PC-ul meu nu prea mai ruleaza jocuri. De asemenea aveam nevoie de un DVD movie player, cel vechi fiind stricat. Trebuie totusi sa fac rost si de o telecomanda + senzor cat de curand.

    Un xbox (clasic) softmodat recunoaste si HDD mai mari decat cel original (parca era de 8 sau 10gig) ??
    Un xbox softmodat poate rula si NTSC si PAL sau doar cel chipuit are aceasta tributie ??

    Am primit si eu un Xbox, si am facut comparatie cu PS2 la NFS:MW, sincer, se vede mai fain la Xbox, si mai multe efecte..

    Nu ma pricep de loc cu HDD-ul, are 50000+ Blocks sau cum se scrie, am save-uri si muzia salvate (deci asta cu muzica e super, joc PGR si ascult muzica care o vreau, nu stiu daca si la PS2, cand pui HDD e la fel) si available am tot 50000+. E striact HDD-ul?

    Hdd-ul nu are nicio problema...scrie 50000+ blocks pentru ca atata e limita maxima pe care o poate citii la salvari...in schimb hdd-ul are 8 Gb din cate stiu, normal.

    Tot nu inteleg Hdd-ul...Am salvat muzia pe el, dar liber tot 50 000+ blocks am available, si daca ma uit la play list, ocupa aproape 10 000 blocks

    Chiar iti pasa ca arata el 50000+ ? lasal in pace...

    8 gb / 340000 blocks => 0.00002353 gb/block ...adica 2,353 kb/block...
    Insa ideea cu block-urile este ca...daca ceva ocupa 2,366 kb...se considera 2 blocksuri...adica...biti pierduti degeaba...

    Am jocul original, sper ca nu imi trebuie, consola modata ca sa pot pune.

    Am avut un Xbox modat, nu stiu ce mod chip aveam pe el, dar cand il aprindeam in stanga sus aparea o icoana mov. Vre-o idee ce mod chip ar fi?
