First, we have a release date for the long-awaited Bloody Palace Mode! This highly-anticipated mode will go live via a free update next week by the following time table:
North America - PS3: Tuesday, 2/19 | Xbox 360: Wednesday, 2/20
Europe - PS3: Wednesday, 2/20 | Xbox 360: Wednesday, 2/20
Second, the free update next week for Bloody Palace will be accompanied by a patch that addresses a few major pieces of fan feedback we've received since the launch of the DmC demo. The most notable ones are given below.
-Poison AI issue addressed (she no longer enters non-interactive state)
-Lessened damage and style boost from Demon Evade
-Arbiter "Drop" now causes damage and style gain even if jump-canceled
-Non-damaging moves no longer provide style points
-Damage done by weakest enemies increased
-Damage done by all enemies increased on Nephilim and Son of Sparda modes
-Adjusted attack (parry) windows for Rage spin move.
-SS and SSS will now decay back down to S if you stop gaining style
-No more eternal angel glide (where Dante flies around)
Bloody Palace and weapon packs available today, Vergil's Downfall date confirmed

Today's a big day for DmC fans. In case you haven't been in on the loop, the long-awaited Bloody Palace Mode, which features some 100+ bonus levels of demon-slaying action (video after the jump!), will be available today for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The mode is completely free, and comes alongside a title update which retweaks a few details of the game for a better experience. Details on the update can be found here.
Additionally, you can now purchase the Gold, Bone, and Samurai weapon packs originally only available as preorder bonuses. They are going for $0.99/80 MSP each or $1.99/160 MSP for all three.
Meanwhile, I'm happy to say that we now have a firm release date for the expansion content, Vergil's Downfall. The expansion, which features hours of completely new content starring Dante's katana-wielding brother, will be out on March 5th for PS3, and PC, March 6th on Xbox 360. Not quite as soon as our initial estimate, but that's just two weeks away! Expect new story, new weapons, new moves, new enemies, and new locations for $8.99, or free if you got the GameStop preorder bonus.
You can also expect a Bloody Palace leaderboard showdown in the near future. Prepare thyself.
Mi-am cumparat si eu jocul, primul lucru care l-am facut a fost sa cumpar si skin-ul cu Classic Dante, dar dupa cateva minute de joc am schimbat inapoi pe Normal Dante, imi place tipul, e potrivit pentru settingul jocului si nu mi se pare deloc asa de lame cum e descris de majoritatea fanboy-lor. Initial am vrut sa-mi cumpar Metal Gear Rising, dar nu a aparut inca in Media Galaxy, asa ca am zis "meah hai sa-l iau pe asta, sa-l butonez pana apare MGR", insa am fost foarte placut surprins de joc si nu regret deloc achizitia facuta. Un tip cu o dexteritate la care doar pot sa visez. Incredibil cum joaca.
Btw, jocul a fost criticat pentru un sistem de combat prea "simplist" si "user-friendly". Check this out bichez:
Pfff ce nebunie e combatul! Ma bucur ca am dat play, l-am trecut pe list ca "must-buy"! Observ ca e no upgrades gameplayul, asta ar insemna ca la upgrade-urile armelor va creste si complexitatea combo-urilor?
Are deblocate miscarile, dar damage-ul e basic, cel de baza, fara a fi upgradat. Eu am laudat jocul si in trecut pe forum, mi-a placut foarte mult, cred ca l-am jucat de vreo 4 ori. Ti-l recomand.
Foarte interesant ce spui tu. L-am trecut si eu pe lista de cumparaturi. Ce jocuri misto mai stii?
Nu am dat importanta pana acum la jocul asta, nefiind pasionat de nici o parte din seria DMC si din ce am vazut in review-uri nu m-a impresionat absolut deloc, in schimb video-ul asta de la tine mi-a aratat exact ce trebuie. Muream si nu stiam ca defapt jocul asta poate fii atat de fun. Inc-odata am invatat ca nu mai trebuie sa ma iau dupa review-uri.
L-am luat ieri seara de pe marketplace cu 10 lire la oferta. e foarte bun jocul, il recomand dava v-a placut Bayonetta si Ninja Gaiden

sa inteleg ca e mai usor ca DMC1/3/4??
Nu e foarte greu, ca 3 de ex. Cel putin boss fights imi par mai usoare si dodge-ul are destule frame-uri de invincibilitate.
Dar in schimb e schema de controll, cu angel si demon weapons, care te trolleaza.
