Wolfenstein: The New Order

. Bethesda have just announced Wolfenstein: The New Order.

The publisher has called the game an “action-adventure shooter” due for release in Q4 2013. It’s under development by MachineGames, which the press release says is “comprised of seasoned developers known for creating compelling, critically-acclaimed story-driven games.”

It’s announced for Xbox 360, PS3, PC and “next generation consoles” with further details to appear via American-based website GameStop under a slightly peculiar drawn-out reveal.

“We are excited to bring a new chapter of Wolfenstein to gamers everywhere,” said Jens Matthies, MachineGames. “As fans of the series, working on this game is an honor, and our team is driven to create an unforgettable action-adventure experience that will make FPS fans proud.”

No multiplayer in new Wolfenstein - GameSpot.com

The upcoming Wolfenstein: The New Order from Bethesda and MachineGames will not include a multiplayer component, the studios have confirmed with GameSpot.

Instead, the current- and next-generation game will strictly be a single-player title, a responsibility MachineGames does not take lightly.

"It's such a huge part of video game legacy," creative director Jens Matthies told GameSpot in a new video preview. "If there's a video game museum, Wolfenstein is in the first room. It's the start of the wave that shaped the world of gaming."

"On a personal level, I played this when I was younger and it was mind-blowing," Matthies added. "I never then of course dreamed that I was going to be working with it. It's both an honor and a legacy."

Chestie de gusturi. Mie mi-a placut foarte mult. Si daca tot ai zis ca fost "slab tare", poti eventual spune si ce ti s-a parut chiar asa de slab la el? Grafica n-a fost rea deloc, sunetele au fost bune (zic eu), muzica potrivita, actiune, arme, pana si povestea a fost buna (pentru un shooter). Deci?

Trailerul e fainut, doar ca nu pare deloc Wolfenstein, parca e Terminator.

sub 10 ore e standardul la FPS cu multiplayer..iar pana in 15 ore la FPS story-heavy(gen bioshock)..cel putin asa vad eu lucrurile.
