Today at Comic Con during the Gears of War panel it was announced that Gears of War: Judgment is coming on March 19, 2013.

Also today, the all-new �Island� map was revealed.

Island takes place on an archipelago of islands off the coast of Halvo Bay, which serves as a supply and refueling depot that feeds the larger military machine along the coast. The individual islands are connected by a series of bridges and tunnels, forming a network of unknown size and security. This is restricted territory, and civilians are not permitted on, or even near, any of the islands.

Cand am citit stirea conform careia Cilffy parasea Epic games, mi-am pus niste semne de intrebare si nu in ultimul rand am devenit ingrijorat privind noul Gears. Se pare ca am avut dreptate si vor sa duca dracului si seria asta.
Pe langa abominatia urmatoare: NU VOR EXISTA LOCUST IN MULTIPLAYER, decat in modul overrun care e o tampenie oricum, mai sunt niste observatii:

MP modes shipping with Judgment: Overrun, FFA, Domination, and TDM.
There are NO elimination, non-respawn modes.
TDM now counts kills towards a goal; there is no more respawn pool
Overrun has bots, can be played in private.
Overrun has no unannounced classes on either side.
You cannot choose characters for Overrun, only classes (ex: you can't be a Cole engineer).
Ranked and quick are still separate, sound unchanged.
You can tag people with any type of grenade; its effect is unchanged (ex: beacon grenade tagged on opponent still just spots)
You can destroy and jump through windows.
Mantle kick is unchanged.
Ammo boxes replenish grenades.
(Supposedly) Every starting weapon has a very specific role, is ineffective out of that role, and has a weakness.


CONCLUZIE:
- execution NIET
- lacuste NIET
- warzone NIET
- executii NIET
- gnasher + lancer NIET deoarece vom avea doar o singura arma cu care putem incepe un meci. Cu alte cuvinte introduc un mod de clase care nu a fost pana acum prezent in universul Gears. De la cel mai balansat multiplayer de pe piata va deveni si asta un fel de col of rahat pe bat.
Nu am cuvinte sa-mi exprim dezamagirea dupa ce am citit stupefiat aceste stiri pe forumul oficial Epic si ma gandesc foarte serios daca voi cumpara jocul sau nu.

Conform povestii (nu ma refer doar la jocuri. Cele trei carti au jucat un rol foarte important), este normal sa nu existe lacuste, executii, in Judgment. Actiunea se petrece inainte de E-Day. Lancer cu chainsaw bayonet nu exista pe atunci, fiind facuta de Adam Fenix dupa aparitia lacustelor. Baioneta normala nu penetra pielea lacustelor foarte usor. La fel si gnasher-ul, este facut dupa E-Day. Ghetele lor, la fel. Toate apar dupa invazia orataniilor.

Legat de executii, oamenii nu erau asa barbari pe vremea lui Judgment. Era doar un razboi intre doua natiuni si mai mult un razboi de gherila, in care existau foarte multe atacuri pe puncte forte (Ex.: tevi de imulsion). In nici un caz nu isi rupeau mainile sa isi dea cu ele in gura sau se calcau pe cap. Barbarismul a aparut ulterior, normal de altfel dupa atatia ani de lupta cu lacustele. Un exemplu proiectat in joc, este Berny, care manca pisici si isi punea blanita la cizmulite.

Universul Gears nu se rezuma doar la lacuste vs oameni. Povestea este mult mai ampla si mai interesanta.
