Posting over on the official Twitter page for upcoming Move supported simian-centric Ape Escape for the PS3, the pleased as punch monkey-lovers are claiming their future game of banana bending and primate capturing is the best Move game yet.
The tweet says:

MaxConsole - Sony admits Playstation Move has 22ms delay lag
According to a play-test by ItWire, their experience with Playstation Move revealed a 'little noticeable' 22ms lag with Playstation Move. Likewise, their experience with 3D gaming indicated there was still a little bit of work to do and things were not as clear as expected.
This game highlighted the slight lag between actions and on-screen reaction, Sony says this is 22 ms, and it is a little noticeable. On the plus side however the accuracy of movement puts this motion controller above the Wii experience.
Twisting the wrist shows an impressive corresponding flick of the faux tennis racquet, but the game itself was a little underwhelming, it was a tech demo more than anything. Mention should also be made of the rumble feature in the Move, it feels more buzzy than I expected.
The Move demo was impressive overall, and the software on display has more work to be done before release.

22 ms este prea mult pentru un FPS. Categoria asta de useri nu va putea fi castigata, indiferent de fidelitate. un 22 si inca un 50 de la conexiunea net ar duce la unplayable. Si daca tinem cont ca pe cei 22 nu-i poti "predict"...
Posibil sa n-aveti idee ce inseamna acei 22ms, un controller wireless de PS3/360 are un lag mult mai mare, difera de la joc la joc la unele sarind de 100ms. Sa mai mentionez ca tine si de televizoare unde acolo marketingul isi face de cap infasurand rahatul in aur poleit cand vine vorba de input lag, dar ce, conteaza asta pentru majoritate? dildo-ul e de vina.
Hai sa o luam matematic si sper sa nu ma insel: 100ms e a zecea parte dintr-o secunda. 10-20ms nu mi se pare atat de mult. Tin minte din CounterStrike ca un ping de 20-30 era cu totul suportabil. Sunt anumite tipuri de jocuri unde se rezuma totul la timing, gen shootere si fightere (seria Tekken in primul rand, ca e frame based fighter), unde delay-ul de 22ms s-ar putea sa conteze intr-o mica mica masura, dar totusi... eu nu o sa cumpar Move pentru BC2, o sa-l cumpar pentru social gaming, pentru ras in cap maimutzoiul ala din demourile Move
Ei, aici incepe sa se complice.
Cred ca ar trebui sa vorbim vizavi de delay-uri si lag-uri dupa ce apare controller-ul, tin minte ca si de Wiimote la fel se vorbea si totusi eu am jucat RE4 cu el cu foarte mare placere, ce mai era alt joc fata de cel de PS2. In concluzie Move e un must have, pentru orice fel de jocuri si pentru orice fel de gamer, aici e vorba de ergonomie+performanta, nu de un controller de competitie.
Si faxiu daca vrei controller lag-free foloseste unul wired, tin minte ca eu, in vremurile de mult apuse, mi-am luat mouse cu fir pentru competitii, in felul asta rezolvi problema si nici nu mai critici un controller pe care nu l-ai testat, e valabil pentru noi toti ceea ce spun nu numai pentru tine.
Sa-mi fie cu iertare daca am avut un ton putin mai grav.

faxiu, categoria de useri pe care o pomenesti tu sta pe PC si nu are nici o legatura cu consolele. nu mai amesteca mere cu pere. pentru ce trebuie sa faca, controllerul o sa fie ok.
VG247 Blog Archive US retailer: Move “coming this July”
.US retailer BT Games is claiming that PlayStation Move is coming a lot sooner than you may have thought.
According to an advert in the chain’s latest promo magazine, gamers should, “Watch out for PlayStation Move. Coming this July.”
There is some, very weak evidence to corroborate the store’s claim. EA’s Tiger Woods game is one of the first to support the device and is due in June, while the PS3 version of Ape Escape was promised for sometime this quarter.

Sa inteleg ca tot pachetul PS Move va costa pe la 50 de euro, right ?
