dupa cum era de asteptat MaxConsole - Sony blocks Server bypass method and forces update or no PSN for jailbreakers...

Looks like Sony has caught up with hackers still accessing PSN without updating through the server bypass method. After turning on my PS3 at 18:30GMT today, I can not login to PSN without updating, therefore Sony has now fixed the bypass method that was being used previously. Sony is now forcing me to to either update my PS3 with there buggy (for some users) firmware update or not play online... thanks Sony for the choice, at least your competitors dont act this way, at least with Apple and Microsoft I always get a choice. Sony's latest firmware update, 3.50, seems to have disabled a number of third party devices. In response to the recent attempt to hack the PS3 via USB, this latest move will counter those actions by disabling third party USB devices and making the PS3 secure from such hacking methods. Aside from USB devices, the new enforcement may also cause problems for some third party controllers. As detailed on Sony's site:

Desi nu imi place, eu zic ca e o reactie oarecum normala, incerca sa salveze ce se mai poate, dar cam prea tarziu. Securitatea a fost sparta, ce sa mai lucrezi la ea? Bresa a fost remediata (3.42, 3.50) insa nu ai cum sa obligi oamenii sa treaca de fw 3.41.

Eu zic sa nu te superi pe Sony, ci sa le multumesti hacker'ilor, ca, desi tu poate nu vrei sa ai deaface cu acel mod, au reusit sa te imbarlige si pe tine.

De mult nu am mai ras asa de bine, abia astept sa vad pe youtube un dispozitiv care explodeaza la cei 0,5mAh cat are usb-ul ps3-ului.

La securitate s-a lucrat si se va lucra in continuare, prin urmare reviziile de fw care au blocat jailbreak-ul. Oricum mi se pare normal ceea ce au facut. Pe tine nu cred ca te afecteaza dezactivarea anumitor device-uri USB, dar iti place sa arati cu degetul.
Practic securitatea efectiva nu a fost compromisa momentan (nici macar la x360), ci s-a reusit trecerea consolei in modul debug care ruleaza cod "neautorizat".
Urmatorul pas logic va fi imposibilitatea de a rula jocuri noi, cele care se vor lansa dupa update-ul 3.42, intrucat toate vor verifica versiunea de fw instalata.

Vina cui este ca a aparut jailbreakul?Cumva de la sony au scapat niste date?
Cum ar fi ca apple atunci cand a aparut exploitul de jailbreak in safari , sa scoata safari din urmatorul update.
Daca tie ti se pare normal e problema ta.Eu personal nu mai stiu deviceuri care, in ciclul de viata sa piarda din features.
