    Ex: Aseara am lasat Gears 5 la download pe laptop si azi dimineata in loc sa joc Gears am realizat ca trebuie sa reinstalez win10 deoarece in ultimul an nu m-am mai atins de el si a mea a reusit...nu stiu exact ce a reusit dar ideea e ca nu mai ruleaza calumea.

    Deci in principiu va rula tot la rezolutia lui PS4 Pro, dar cu 60fps. Probabil va avea si un mod 4K cu 30fps.

    There are two different ways to play God of War on PS5. On the one hand, we can download the game with the latest version and we will have an experience similar to PS4 Pro, where the only remarkable thing that differentiates it is that its 1080p mode maintains 60fps (on PS4 Pro it runs at an average of 40fps). The other option is, having the physical game, install it without updating. We will have a stable 4K / 60fps version as there is no patch limiting framerate or resolution here. However, there is a problem and that is that if you load your most recent saved games, the game is likely to crash. On the other hand, it should be mentioned that the PS5 version uses 4K checkerboard and, not least, it seems that it has certain problems with the drawing distance in some details, being lower than in PS4 Pro. In any case, if you have the game in physical format, feel free to play it in version 1.00 for the best experience (until a patch comes out that allows us to play at this quality in the latest version).

    Dupa ce am fost dezamagit cand l-am pornit pe cel de la PS+ Collection si arata ca naiba in 1080p, voi incerca versiunea de pe disc.

    Sunt curios daca totusi vor scoate ceva patch-uri la jocurile de genu asta (sau macar la toate din PS+ Collection) care sa le faca sa mearga macar in "Resolution mode", dar cu 60fps + DS5 support si tot ar fi fenomenal (asa cum are Days Gone, mai putin controller suport).

    Va fi un singur mod pentru PS5, însă se poate trece înapoi la versiunile de PS4 Pro.

    Pai si de ce ai vrea sa treci la versiunea de PS4 Pro? Oare pentru ca nu tine cei 60fps? Also, ce inseamna ca rendering-u e doar orizontal, nu si vertical?
    Checkerboard-u = dublarea efectiv a rezolutiei. Nu merge decat daca dubleaza totul.

    O alta chestie ciudata si pe care o aud acum pentru prima data este aceasta expresie "Syncs to 60 FPS" - asta ce mai inseamna?

    Asa le place sa vorbeasca in dodii, doar doar prostesc oamenii ca sa creada ca e 4k nativ cu 60fps

    Pai vertical este nativ, doar orizontal este checkerboard.

    Probabil au lăsat modul PS4 Pro deoarece ai 4K (Cb) și 30fps, probabil mai sunt doritori de 30fps. Treaba este simpla, poți juca atât versiunea de PS4 cât și cea de PS5, exact ca la FIFA 21. Bine ca oferă soluții!
    Oricum, probabil vor ieși azi analize pe acest update și vom vedea exact care e și treaba cu “Syncs ți 60fps), deși eu întreg ca jocul va rula tot timpul la 60fps fără probleme.

    "Checkerboard rendering on the horizontal lines, the verticle lines are full 2160p." - Asta nu mai e checkerboard, asta e interlacing si nu cred ca se mai foloseste la jocurile moderne pentru ca s-ar vedea rapid liniile alea, mai ales in miscare, cam cum se vede la inregistrarile video vechi care au interlacing.

    La checkerboard se randeaza doar 50% din pixels, per frame. Practic oricand pe ecran doar 50% din pixeli sunt nou randati, ceilalti 50% sunt mai vechi cu un frame; cand stai pe loc nu se observa nimic, atunci ai full 4k resolution practic. Dar la orice se misca, daca te uiti cu atentie sau faci o poza la ecran, o sa se vada checkerboard.
    Vezi imaginea atasata. Practic asa arata, doar ca pixelii negri din imaginea asta vor fi pixelii care au fost acolo in frame-ul anterior, deci se vede efectul doar in miscare.

    Uite o comparatie (de vazut 1:1 pe calc) Interlacing (sau line-interpolation) si Checkerbord.

    Asa se vede checkerboard in jocuri cand misti camera cu totul. Efectul e cam naspa cand te uiti la poza in sine, dar nu ar trebui sa fie foarte vizibil in joc, in functie de fps.
    La 60 e mult mai usor de trecut cu vederea pt ca vei vedea foarte putin timp imaginea efectiva, pentru ca vine noul frame - cand e sub 30 devine foarte deranjant, pt ca poti vedea individual fiecare frame.

    Eu personal nu inteleg de ce au trecut dintr-o data de la checkerboard (de la ps4 pro si xone) la dynamic resolution acum la noile console. In termeni de performanta efectiva, checkerboard echivaleaza cu aproximativ 1500p si era mult mai ok decat acum.

    La rezolutia dinamica e ok in sensul ca poate sa urce dinamic up to full resolution insa nu e ok (cel putin mie nu mi se pare deloc ok) atunci cand ai de ex o poza la rezolutie mai mica efectiv upscaled, blurry - checkerboard e fix, totusi - adica acolo ai half resolution si atat, nu mai fluctueaza.

    Probabil acum se considera ca in anumite scene din joc s-ar risipi resurse gpu, adica ar sta nefolosite.
