Nu vorbesc din expperienta ca nu stiu cum e la ei, dar daca au implementat treaba logic si corect ar trebui sa primesti un mail ca plata a esuat si sa incerci dinou!

Series S exista strict ca sa acopere gamerii cu buget redus care nu isi permit consola series x + jocuri. Sistemul prin care platesti x dolari pe luna si ai consola si jocuri si multiplayer online este o idee buna, accesibila si ieftina pentru un astfel de gamer. In plus cand ai buget redus te intereseaza sa te joci mai mult decat detalii grafice si fps.
Cand eram student as fi dat orice sa gasesc asemenea oferta pe piata.

Aici greșești cu bugetul. Series S este doar la prima vedere cea mai ieftina opțiune, dar dacă stai sa faci calculele exacte o sa vezi că de fapt cea mai ieftina opțiune este Series X cu jocurile cumpărate și vândute pe olx.

Series S: $300 initial + $15 pe lună game pass => după un an ai ajuns deja la un cost de $500. Tine cont că o să păstrezi consola in medie 7 ani (sau mai mult daca vorbim de cineva care nu are bani să treacă la next gen day one), deci o sa plătești $1260 pe abonament pentru generația actuală, in condițiile in care nu cumperi nici măcar un singur joc. Total $1560.

Series X: $500 + $0 pe lună. Jocurile le iei de OLX și le vinzi cu aceeași sumă după ce le-ai terminat, deci oricate ai juca la finalul zilei nu te costa nimic. Eventual mai pierzi cate 20 de lei când se devalorizează ceva, dar nesemnificativ. Joci și multiplayer? Gold $8 pe lună => $700 in 7 ani => total $1200 ca să stai cu Series X generația asta și să te joci toate jocurile care apar, nu doar ce dau ei la game pass.

Fii atent, chiar și pentru cazul extrem in care nu ai toți banii de consolă acum și vrei sa te joci și multiplayer, tot nu ieși mai ieftin cu Series S. Daca te gândești la 2 ani rate fara dobândă, diferența de preț dintre Gold și Game pass e fix diferența dintre valoarea ratelor celor două console.

Când eram student nu mi-aș fi permis să dau bani in fiecare luna pentru jocuri și abonamente de multiplayer. Îmi păstrez ideea, Series S nu are niciun motiv să existe. Daca ai bani de dat iei Series X, daca nu ai bani de dat iei Series X și vinzi jocurile. Poate cel mult ar avea sens pentru cine nu are bani și e și leneș, dar un astfel de om cred că are probleme mai importante decât joaca.

Series S e buna pentru Microsoft la facut bani pentru ca ai jocuri digitale si GamePass, te tin captiv.

Series X e cea mai buna optiune pentru orice jucator daca gandesti un pic si faci niste calcule cum a spus Espiritus.

Eu nu sunt de acord cu asta. Eu nu-mi pot imagina Xbox fara Game Pass. In niciun caz Series X.

Nu as putea sa dau bani pe jocuri deja incluse in abonament, chiar daca teoretic le poti vinde mai departe, desi mai greu. Merg pe principiu ca majoritatea oamenilor cu Xbox au Game Pass si atunci nu as avea cui sa vand la pret mare un joc, iar hit-ul financiar ar fi destul de mare in cazul asta.

Iar in cateva luni, de cand vom putea juca jocuri de Series X prin cloud gaming pe consola, deja nu prea mai conteaza diferenta hardware. Poti juca si pe One X (preferabil, pentru 4k output) fara nicio problema.

Cat de pretul abonamentului, nu e chiar 15$ pe luna pentru 7 ani. Iei pe 12 luni, iesi mai ieftin. Iei la vreo reducere si iesi si mai ieftin.
Personal am tot luat 12 luni de GPU la 200 lei. Iar asta inseamna 3 euro pe luna. Si are si EA Access inclus.

Depinde de cate jocuri ai, eu am peste 700 jocuri cumparate si nu am jucat nici jumatate din ele plus abonamentul PS Plus de unde mai primesc jocuri in fiecare luna. Am vrut la un moment dat sa imi iau GamePass dar asta insemna sa nu mai le joc pe cele care care le am deja.

GamePass e bun pentru cine are jocuri putine.

Depinde cum privesti. Cu siguranta nu e pentru oricine, asa cum nici consolele nu sunt pentru oricine sau orice alt lucru in lumea asta.

Game pass e bun pentru jocurile noi adaugate day 1 + jocurile mai vechi pe care nu le-ai jucat sau EA access.
Si eu am sute de jocuri cumparate si jucate la vremea lor (nu sunt adeptul cumparaturilor doar pentru ca sunt la oferta, dar care nu ma intereseaza, cum nu dau redeem nici la jocurile gratis daca nu ma intereseaza si nu am de gand sa le joc vreodata) dar tot ma joc tot ce apare daca-mi starneste cat de cat interesul.

Dar cand vezi un joc gen Pshychonauts 2 care e day 1 in Game Pass si full price pe PS5, parca e mai rentabil acel abonament lunar si te bucuri de el fara extra bani. Si cum au fost si vor tot fi multe (inclusiv jocurile Bethesda).

Un alt exemplu excelent este Microsoft Flight Simulator. Joc pe care nu as fi dat bani ca sa-l iau fizic, gandindu-ma ca ma joc 2-3h si ma plictisesc, nefiind fan al jocurilor de genu. Dar fiind inclus, l-am instalat si am pierdut vreo 10h explorand si a ramas instalat.
Momentan m-am plictisit de el, dar cu siguranta voi intra dupa fiecare update ca sa vad ce alte orase au mai updatat si sa mai explorez vreun alt colt de lume.

Dolby Vision support for games will be available Tuesday on the Xbox Series X and Series S, allowing owners of Microsoft’s latest consoles (and a cutting-edge television) to play dozens of compatible games with even better image quality than they already offer. (...)

Tuesday’s update makes the Xbox Series X and Series S the first and only gaming consoles where you can play games in both Dolby Atmos spatial sound (which has been available since launch) and Dolby Vision HDR.

Dolby Vision support covers “more than 100 next-gen HDR titles optimized for Series X|S” that are “available now or coming soon,” Microsoft said Tuesday in an Xbox Wire post. A Dolby spokesperson was unable to provide a full list to Polygon, but said that the library includes “nearly all of the native HDR titles available today that have been optimized for Xbox Series X|S such as Psychonauts 2, Gears 5, and Ori and the Will of the Wisps.”

You can find a collection of Xbox Series X games on the Microsoft Store that, as of Dolby Vision’s launch on Tuesday, support Dolby Vision as well as Dolby Atmos. The Dolby spokesperson declined to name any upcoming games being made with native Dolby Vision support, but said, “We can confirm that games are in development and that we are accelerating our engagements with these studios to build out a strong library of future games that will release in Dolby Vision.”

The feature extends to a much larger segment of the Xbox library, too. In addition to Xbox Series X games that have been optimized for Dolby Vision, there are “thousands” of titles — whether they natively offer HDR10 color or do so through Microsoft’s Auto HDR technology — that will “benefit from improved picture quality through new Dolby Vision enhancement,” according to Microsoft. This process will take place automatically as long as your Xbox Series X or Series S is connected to a Dolby Vision-capable TV.

Microsoft also said that future games, such as December’s Halo Infinite, will “[take] full advantage of Dolby Vision.” Asked to explain what that means, the Dolby representative told Polygon that the company is “not sharing further information at this time about Halo,” but spoke generally about developing games with Dolby Vision support.

“Developers can implement Dolby Vision directly into the game engine which provides the greatest creative flexibility and control over their game, or they can take advantage of the built-in Dolby Vision technologies within the Xbox developer platform to create their game in Dolby Vision,” the rep said. “Ultimately it is up to the developer to choose the creative workflow that best suits their game.”

It’s worth noting that Microsoft and Dolby recommend that users enable auto low-latency mode (ALLM) on their television when gaming in Dolby Vision. Some TVs may not support this, and Microsoft warned in its Xbox Wire post that “players with TV models that have not been optimized to unlock Dolby Vision with next-gen gaming settings may experience latency issues during gameplay.”
