"I like to turn things upside down, to watch pictures and situations from another perspective."
This New Repair Part Can Fix Your Old NES
A recently funded Kickstarter campaign started by the group Arcade Works promises an easy fix for those with an NES that’s fallen victim to the dreaded blinking red light. While the original ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) loading trays in the NES made cartridge loading as easy and "toy-like" as possible, they weren’t designed to withstand heavy use and the contacts would wear out quickly due to the click-down design. Those of you familiar with this issue probably remember the frustrating blinking red light and blue screen that would follow. Arcade Works believes they have put an end to this issue once and for all with their new NES upgrade, the Blinking Light Win: a two-piece system consisting of both a dual connector PCB (Printed Circuit Board) and a new-and-improved version of the cartridge loading tray. - See more at: This New Repair Part Can Fix Your Old NES
Analogue Interactive's aluminum body NES, the Analogue Nt, should be ready for shipping in February, Polygon reports.
The company issued a number of photos showing the interior of the system today and commented, "We designed and manufactured the Analogue Nt's motherboard with an extraordinary focus on detail. It is designed and constructed like a piece of art using custom materials, rarely seen in PCB manufacturing."
Analogue says the board was produced with a "custom black PCB with exposed and raised copper traces, finished with a transparent solder mask."
Ei bine, asta ar trebui remasterizat, nu alte ra#aturi. L-am jucat intr-o sala arcade cand eram mic si cred ca l-am terminat de cel putin 50 de ori

There’s a World Video Game Hall of Fame now, and the first class of inductees was announced yesterday. Pong, Pac-Man, Super Mario Bros., Tetris, Doom, and World of Warcraft are to video games what Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson, Babe Ruth, and Honus Wagner are to baseball.
Canonball—the process of assembling a canon—is one of my favorite games, because it never ends and no one can win. It’s an intellectual endless runner. The Strong National Museum of Play and its selection committee did a perfectly acceptable job, and the Strong is a terrific museum in Rochester, N.Y., that you should visit. Yet I also think there’s a tragic mistake in the inaugural class: Ms. Pac-Man should have made the cut instead of her overbearing husband.
