Red Dead Redemption 2 Rumor
If you're a fan of Rockstar's open-world Western Read Dead Redemption then you've probably got a little of that ol' out-riding-fences feeling. It feels like it's been a long, LONG time since we got to roam the range as John Marston, part-lawman, part-bandit, all-cowboy badass. It's been nearly four years to the day since the May 18, 2010 launch of Rockstar's beloved GTA-in-the-West sandbox epic. And it might be less than year until we get to experience the sequel, presumably titled Red Dead Redemption 2.
Last week, Take Two interactive (Rockstar's parent company) got the Read Dead Redemption 2 release rumor mill churning away when CEO Strauss Zelnick said during a post-earnings financial call that he is "very excited about what [Rockstar Games] have in store for next-gen systems." He also indicated that Rockstar would have a next-gen release by the end of the current fiscal year which, for Rockstar, means by March 2015.
