When you open up a PS3, the hard drive is revealed to be a simple laptop hard drive – and as such, it is easily replaced if you want to upgrade. When you open up a new 360, you see a normal laptop hard drive encased in an impenetrable plastic shell. Wanna swap this one out? You’re going to need the Microsoft model – which, if the original 360 is any indication, will cost just over twice what it would if it weren’t imitating a mummy in a sarcophagus (at press time, a 250GB laptop drive on buy.com is $50 naked and $120 in a 360 sled).
PS: linkul nu l-am dat ca sunt fanboy ps3, ci sa-i raspund lui Khan. (acesta a fost unul dintre cele mai recente citite articole unde se specifica ca HDD e locked)
