The character selection screen from Mortal Kombat 9 confirms the time being, that 26 fighters will have the game, of which eight are now available.
It is unclear whether this will be the final selection or these fighters will be changed again until the release next year. Furthermore, on the screen a secret fighters to "see" and the allusion to DLC's, which have already been mentioned recently.
The confirmed according to the screenshot fighters are Scorpion, Milleena, Reptile, Sub-Zero, Kung Lao, Johnny Cage, Night Wolf and Sector.
