PSN Anonreg 1.0 Released - Anonymous PSN Account Creator
If the recent PSN hacks have taught us anything, it's how important data privacy really is. Since users have lost trust in Sony to keep their data private, at least one amateur coder decided to take matters into his own hands. An underground developer has created a PC based application, titled PSN Anonreg 1.0, that allows users to anonymously create a PlayStation Network account. It achieves this by stripping out sensitive data which is normally sent, such as your unique Console ID number.
Prior to creating an account with PSN Anonreg, please ensure that the username and email address that you intend to use are not yet registered with another PSN account. In addition, the password you choose must contain eight characters, at least one upper and lowercase letter, and at least one number. These are standard PSN account requirements, but please note that the application will not check these requirements for you.
