Am incercat SmartGlass pe Windows 8, e pretty cool. E usor de "instalat", descarci aplicatia de pe Store, rulezi si se sincronizeaza cu consola (evident trebuie sa fi signed in pe Xbox Live). Apare un mesaj "[gamertag] connected with Xbox SmartGlass". In aplicatie sunt urmatoarele tab-uri: Bing, Now playing, Recent, Music, Videos si Games.
Cand selectezi o aplicatie sau joc apare un alt meniu cu detalii despre, "Play on Xbox 360" (deschide jocul daca e DVD-ul introdus sau daca e descarcat jocul arcade/aplicatia), "Play trailer", ce prieteni au jucat recent, daca ai setat Beacon, achievements si marketplace items. Side note: pentru a cumpara ceva de pe Marketplace sau a vedea daca sunt online prietenii tai trebuie folosita aplicatia Games (a fost redenumita de doua ori din Xbox Games si Xbox Companion).
In "Now playing" afiseaza automat ce joci/ce aplicatie folosesti. Nefiind jocuri cu SmartGlass features am folosit functia de Remote pe Dashboard si Internet Explorer. Ca optiuni ai de ales intre Xbox Guide, Browser, Controller si Keyboard. Apesi pe sageata in dreapta, se duce in dreapta in Dashboard, apesi A pentru a selecta, B pentru back etc.. Executa repede comenzile, nu este delay. Daca scrii un mesaj se activeaza Keyboard si poti sa scrii mai usor si mai rapid decat folosind controllerul. In browser la fel, pentru linkuri. Daca apesi pe "Play here" in Internet Explorer iti va deschide pe browserul calculatorului site-ul.
Cam atat deocamdata, astept cu mare interes sa fie implementat si sa si ai ce face cu el gameplay-wise in ceva jocuri serioase.
Am atasat si niste print-screen-uri. Game on !
