By now you might be wondering what kind of impact all of this sharing and installation is going to have on your hard drive. After a day of futzing with the PS4, I accumulated around 40 minutes of gameplay footage and nearly 40 screenshots, which totaled just under 17MB.

Daca as sti sigur ca vom avea Store in Romania nu as mai prelungi PS+ pe UK. Mai am pana in Iulie 2014. Cred ca pana atunci se va afla ceva sigur... Si atunci voi trece la PS+ pe RO :D Si ma va prinde PS4 cu abonament PS+ de Romania.
Păi şi ce facem cu jocurile PS Plus din listă, e de ***, trebuiau să facă asta la lansare, nu înţeleg de ce le ia atâta timp să pună in aplicare.
Iti poti pastra contul vechi si iti poti creea unul nou pe RO.
Se poate schimba tara la cont adica de pe UK sa trec pe RO insa sa-mi ramana trofeele?

Auzi la pipiletii aia de la Polygon "lack of games we can recommend". Da Killzone, Resogun, Contrast, Assassin's Creed 4, Battlefield 4, NFS Rivals, Warframe, NBA2K ce plm sunt, balosilor? Cum isi poarta ei razboaiele personale in "presa de specialitate" crezandu-ne pe noi idioti. Ma cuprinde un sentiment crunt de neputinta pe care il mai intalnesc doar cand ii vad pe ilustrii nostri politicieni la TV.

I had a brand-new PS4 and 7 games. Naturally, a brand-new PS4 still needs a system update (copied off the game disc), but with that out of the way, the installation times were surprisingly fast. I also found out that once you put a disc in the drive, it automatically starts installing so not a second is wasted waiting for you to click a button.
I should note that this is part of the PS4's ability to stream games as they download or install, so the installation time isn't how long it takes to install all 36 gigs of Knack, but how long it takes to transfer enough to get the game going. The rest of the data gets copied in the background as long as the disc is in the drive.
Here are the install times I got for the update and each game:
1.06 System update: 6:15
57 seconds to copy the update from the disc
10 seconds to scroll through the EULA
4:10 to prepare, reboot and install
Remaining time is other menus and loading
Knack: 32 seconds
Killzone: Shadow Fall: 0:38
Battlefield 4: 0:42
Injustice: Gods Among Us: 0:28
Just Dance 2014: 0:24
Madden 25: 0:23
Assassin's Creed 4: 0:13
In total, from turning on the system, it took 14 minutes and 30 seconds to do a system update and install 7 games. Not too shabby.

Nu cred ca ai cercetat suficient. Un SSHD in majoritatea testelor se comporta ca si un SSD, care e de n ori mai scump si cu spatiu de n ori mai mic. Problema apare la transfer secvential (cand copiezi sa zicem... un fisier de 50GB), unde se va comporta ca si un HDD de 5400RPM. Insa, sa fim seriosi... pe PS4 nu faci operatiuni de genul acesta.Quote:

Concluzia o trageti singuri.
Multumesc ca ai facut acest efort,insa eu nu am vrut/nu vreau sa iau un HDD de $120.Cel de 5400RPM a fost aproape la acelasi pret ca 7200RPM.
Pe mine sincer nu ma intereseaza viteza de lucru asa de mult,mie imi trebuie spatiu care sa fie de ajuns pentru generatia viitoare (sau actuala).
Eu ma bucur de achizitia facuta,si de-abia astept sa le primesc.
@MonkY Inca o data imi cer scuze daca pare ca am facut pas rau,dar $65 mi se pare pret bun pentru HDD.Daca as fi dat $120 pe HDD pentru PS4,as fi luat varianta 1.5TB de 5400RPM.

However this is generally not something that’s done, as game developers are hesitant to allocate valuable CPU time to audio and other effects that are difficult to demonstrate and sell. Further complicating this is of course the current generation consoles, which dedicate a relatively small portion of what are already pretty limited resources to audio processing. As a result the baseline for audio is at times an 8 year old console, or at best a conservative fraction of one CPU core.

Tare video-ul. Imi place comparatie de viteza la loading times. Sper sa mai apara astfel de comparatii si la jocuri mari de 40 gb
Complet de acord cu ce ai scris,dar daca am compara un cont de RO cu unul de UK presupun ca vom gasi niste dezavantaje la contul romanesc,cum ar fi numarul de jocuri gratuite mult mai putine,preturile la jocuri,carduri sau wallets vor fi mai mari,actualizarile vor fi mai rare.E posibil sa se intample,nu?Tin minte ca am citit o data un comentariu de al tau dintr-un thread vechi despre Store-ul bulgaresc unde ai observat ca preturile de acolo pentru jocuri erau mult mai mari decat in US sau UK Store iar actualizarile se faceau destul de rar.Sper ca la noi nu va fi deloc asa.Quote:
