DC Universe Online: Catwoman messes things up a bit in February expansion | VG247
According to various previews of the content, DCUO players will be able to assume Catwoman’s identity or go against her in PvP mode as well.
The update also comes with Valentine’s Day-related activities, thanks to the goddess Aphrodite showing her true colors across Metropolis, and a new eight-person raid instance for high-level players will be added as well with the Batcave.
SOE’s goal with the update, according to game director Chris Cao, was to provide something for everyone whether they were a high level player or still leveling their way up. It also provides new content for console players, who may only be into it on a casual sense, unlike the hardcore PC crowd.
“DCUO” is a rarity in the MMO world because you can play on a PC or on the PlayStation 3, and the two hardware platforms draw different audiences,” he said. “On a console, playtime is typically shorter, but people come back and play more often. So the game’s designed to be a lot of fun even in short bursts. The PS3 is competing with cable, with DVR, with Netflix, and you can’t hog the TV for 10 hours a day.”

Asta este unul din jocurile care sufera din cauza reviewurilor , mai ales ca multe dintre minusurile primite sunt din motive care pot fi rezolvate prin patchuri : voice-chat, scripting, level cap si altele , dar cu siguranta nu strica deloc experienta si placerea acestui joc.Faxiu iti sugerez sa cumperi de pe acuma jocul ca te asigur eu ca merita , daca nu primesti banii inapoi.
Eu am cumparat odata cu Dc Universe Online, LBP 2 si Mass Effect 2 si eram foarte derutat ce sa joc, dar dupa primele 2 ore de DCUO m-am asigurat ca trebuie sa profit din plin de primele 30 de zile.

Raptr report shows what other online games DCUO players prefer | VG247
The social network application Raptr has issued data it compiled regarding some of the online games DC Universe Online players spent the most time in. Unsurprisingly, those partaking of the newly released MMO are also WoW players.
However, not all games played online by DCUO fans who use Raptr were MMOs: Call of Duty: Black Ops and StarCraft 2 both landed high on the complied charts.
“The stats show that DCUO players predominantly play MMORPGs specifically and multi-player games in general,” said Raptr. “World of Warcraft, the number two most played game on Raptr in the last month, was also the top game that DCUO players played and stole the most playtime from.
“While WoW was affected the most, overall dent is pretty minimal as the overall gameplay hours tracked for WoW week in and week out keeps it at the top of the charts.”

Nu a aparut nimic special, poate doar pentru reducerea care au facut-o pe 8 februarie.
De ce trebuie sa fie jocul asta un MMORPG si nu un Action-Adventure cu un story and stuff like that.
Atata potential bagat intr-un MMORPG.
Deci care a zis ca-l joaca 30 zile si il vinde pare ca s-a cam intzepat. O manevra cam idioata din partea sony. Defapt vine natural dupa mizeria cu lifetime pt. PC only....Din categoria avem un joc bun, cum sa ne batem joc de el.
limiteaza aiurea piata SH. macar cei de la EA mai ofera posibilitatea unui cod VIP nou. Oricum, MMORPG-urile sunt jocuri care necesita mult timp liber si daca te-a prins, oricum nu il mai lasi.
Ce se mai aude cu lifetime pe ps3?
nu se aude. momentan nu au anuntat nimic de lifetime subscription. Se gandescca oferta aia pe 3 luni ne convine (ori asta ori stiu si ei ca dupa 3 luni piere chefu pt totdeauna)
Cati au jocul de pe forum ? Merita ?
Am vazut ca pe Metacritic are nota mica, dar din video-uri mi-a placut.
Am jucat doar beta, frumos jocul dar ca pret este OK doar pt. PC.
Eu si cu Uziwood il avem de pe forum dar nu prea l-am mai vazut pe Uziwood , si avem regiuni diferite oricum , eu sunt zona 1 (US) si el zona 2 (EU).
Dupa cum am spus si mai sus nu te lua dupa note ca asa nu vei ajunge niciodata sa il joci , dat fiind faptul ca nu crezi ca isi face banii pentru un overall de 66 pe metacritic.

Jocul a fost la oferta acum ceva timp la 2xjocuri la 25lire pe zavvi. Deci 70 Ron jocul. Din pacate, cine a prins stoc a primit jocul, la restul le-au fost anulate comenzile.
La pretul ala nu gaseai nicaieri oricum. Posibil sa fi fost o greseala a celor de la zavvi.
