Pentru ca daca s-ar lasnsa in 2016/2017 abea in 2020/2021 ne vor taia mau'

Killzone: Shadow Fall's Single Player Component Is Finished - Push Square

Killzone: Shadow Fall’s single player campaign has been playable from start to finish for a “couple of months”, game director Steven ter Heide has revealed. Writing on Twitter earlier this morning, the Guerrilla Games employee stated that he was taking advantage of the quiet time in the office to play through the solo component of the PlayStation 4 exclusive.
“Quiet Saturday morning in the office,” he teased. “Starting my [Killzone: Shadow Fall] campaign playthrough.” Asked if the component was finished in a basic form, ter Heide added: “Has been for a couple of months. Had [a] couple [of] playtests already. Getting better every time.”
Unable to resist the temptation of further hints, the developer later noted: “Just played through an awesome encounter. Game is really starting to come together. Can’t wait to show you more.” Alas, that won’t be during next week’s GDC, as ter Heide claims that the studio is “too busy” to attend the event.
The first-person spin-off is set to launch alongside the PS4 later this year. The fact that the campaign is finished so early should give the developer plenty of time to polish the adventure. It'll also allow it to turn its attention to multiplayer, which according to ter Heide, is getting a big internal playtest next week

Guerrilla Games Details the Lighting Technology in Killzone: Shadow Fall - Push Square

    You may need a guidebook
We’re going to be perfectly honest: a lot of what Guerrilla Games’ senior technology programmer Michael Drobot has to say about Killzone: Shadow Fall in the video embedded below goes way over our head. Still, the presentation – recorded by Polish website GRYOnline – offers an interesting snapshot at some of the technology being employed by the upcoming PlayStation 4 launch title.
Speaking at the Digital Dragons industry gathering in Krakow, Drobot detailed how the Dutch developer is using ray tracing techniques to create real-time reflections in the next generation shooter. Even if you’re like us and don’t really understand the specifics of what’s being discussed, it’s still always fascinating watching a scene come to life through the addition of various visual filters.
Earlier in the year, Guerrilla Games revealed that it has already completed work on an alpha version of Killzone: Shadow Fall's single player, and is now spending much of its time refining the experience ahead of the title’s launch later this year.

    Digital Foundry on Twitter:

Killzone Shadow Fall PS Meeting demo using 3GB of RAM for graphics is an eye-opener... and that's with FXAA (no multi-sampling).
    http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2013/05/...n-technically/

Killzone Shadow Fall, one of Sony’s big titles during its PlayStation 4 reveal, used just 3 of the system’s 8GB of RAM for video. That’s according to a new 100 page technical breakdown published by the developer today and available online. The presentation highlights a couple of key bullet-points, namely that Guerrilla are working on two games (one is an unannounced new IP), and that Killzone Shadow Fall will be a PS4 launch title.
It goes on to demonstrate some technical elements to the demo, highlighted in the YouTube clip above. The demo offered up 60 AI characters, 940 entities, 8,200 physics objects, 500 particle systems, 120 voices and 110 ray casts.
There’re a lot of slides about their own profiler, which Guerrilla say they had to produce because SCE’s tools weren’t quite there yet.
Characters are built from around 40,000 polygons, that’s four times as complex as those seen in Killzone 3. There’s also plenty of lighting discussion, if you’re that way inclined.
Guerrilla say the PS4 is “really easy to program for”, the GPU is “really fast” and the speedy RAM is “awesome”. Obvious words from a first party developer, but good to hear all the same – it does feel like Sony have completely changed their approach to hardware this generation.
