    “The first thing that people notice is fidelity,” says Steven. “It’s running in 1080p, whereas the last game was running in 720p – that immediately makes a difference. The particle resolution had to be very low [on PS3], but because we’ve got loads more memory [now] we can have higher particle resolutions. More HDR lighting gives lots more range in the type of light we have in this level; both the amount of post-processing effects, and the quality of these effects. That’s the kind of thing people notice when looking at the difference between PS3 and PS4. The games look prettier."

    According to ter Heide, the game's default settings will cover the important gameplay mechanics present in Shadow Fall, but players will be able to make changes that are best for them.

    "It always takes experimentation and lots of testing to get this right, and we realize that even then it's probably not the best layout for everyone," ter Heide wrote. "So we will provide options to change the layout. The new controller feels different in a couple of important areas, and we are taking advantage of the new features and feel. But if, for example, you don't like to fire using the new outward curved triggers, you can change that."
    Sper ca toate shooterele de pe PS4 sa ofere aceasta optiune. Nu prea ma incanta ideea sa folosesc triggerele pentru a tinti/impusca chiar daca au fost imbunatatite. Sunt obisnuit cu L1+R1, am un timp de reactie mai bun atunci cand le folosesc.

    Killzone: Shadow fall multiplayer unveiled at GamesCom - Killzone.com

    Just like in the single player campaign, Killzone: Shadow Fall’s multiplayer gives you the freedom to play the game exactly how you want. Using the new customizable Warzone features demonstrated in the trailer, you can pick the number of players (4-24), rules, mission modes, classes, abilities and weapons you want to allow in a match, then save these choices as a preset to share with the rest of the Shadow Fall community.

    With an ever-evolving selection of Warzone presets, you’ll have no trouble finding fresh and challenging online matches in Killzone: Shadow Fall. In addition, the community team will regularly highlight interesting new Warzone presets and introduce new options to customize and play with by means of expansion packs.

    That’s not all, of course – we’ve worked hard to make sure Killzone: Shadow Fall will be a fun, competitive multiplayer experience that’s easy to get into, but difficult to master. There are now eight different rotating mission modes, four of which are new to Killzone: Shadow Fall. The game has three classes with unique abilities and 22 different weapons – all unlocked from the get-go, so you can determine for yourself how and in which order you want to specialize.

    We’ve also redesigned our progression system to work with challenges rather than XP. There are over 1500 increasingly difficult challenges to complete in Killzone: Shadow Fall multiplayer, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to prove your skills and collect rewards. To increase longevity even further, we plan to continue support for the title well after launch – and yes, DLC multiplayer maps will be released free of charge to ensure everyone can play.

    We hope you’re as excited about Killzone: Shadow Fall multiplayer as we are.     No offence , dar pt. mine aceste detalii nu sunt asa de 'WOW' . Ma refer la faptul ca in KZ2 aveai deja aceasta optiune (cea cu servere customizabile ; a fost scoasa din pacate in KZ3 ) . Apoi , de ce numai 24 de jucatori/mapa , avand in vedere faptul ca in KZ2 erau 32 ? Ar fi putut sa impinga aceste limite si sa transforme jocul in 'altceva' , nu sa il indrepte inspre un CoD killer . Sunt destul de sceptic , pt. ca vad ca cei de la Guerilla Games se inspira la greu din alte titluri (exe. CoD , Halo) si astfel dispare senzatia de originalitate . Am jucat si KZ2 si KZ3 si KZ:Liberation si imi placeau la acestea atat SP , cat si MP , pt. ca erau o gura de aer proaspat . Ce vad in KZ Shadow Fall insa , nu mai este acelasi lucru . Pacat , nu stiu cat de multa lume din comunitate este foarte multumita de directia in care merge jocul , dar sper sa ma insel si sa fie un succes din toate punctele de vedere . Long live to Helghan !

    Gamescom: Hands-On With Killzone: Shadow Fall’s Multiplayer - IGN

    There are a ton of guns, attachments, abilities, and augments, but more importantly, Guerrilla has crafted a series of modes that don’t rely on experience points, replacing such a straight-forward approach with an extensive series of skill-based challenges. Killzone: Shadow Fall will launch with a staggering 1,500 of these challenges, which range from achieving kill streaks to using certain weapons effectively. Completing challenges, in turn, increases your online ranking.
    Completing challenges will unlock new scopes, improved abilities, and more, meaning that if you dedicate yourself to mastering Killzone: Shadow Fall, you’ll have more to show for it than merely a numerical ranking.
    Of course, Shadow Fall will also support clans, bots, party chat, and much more, but deep Warzone options really seem like they’ll sit at the center of the newest iteration of Killzone’s online community.
    The game will launch with 10 maps, but as we first reported yesterday, all subsequent maps released will be made available completely free of charge. And there’s a team at Guerrilla already dedicated to making this DLC, so you can probably expect those maps sooner rather than later.

    The developers at Guerilla render the game in full HD and target a framerate of 60 fps. "We could have set our game on 30 fps and added more makeup, but how the game feels is important to us", the Dutchmen explained. "Killzone is not supposed to be a pure graphics demo but wants to keep players engaged over the long term."
