Great news! Sper ca asta sa insemne si aparitia unui nou Emerald anul viitor. :)

Pokemon Emerald este unul din jocurile mele preferate din serie. Cred ca impactul a fost mai puternic si pentru ca, dupa generatia I, am trecut direct la III. Diferenta dintre Red/Blue/Yellow si Emerald a fost ceva divin. Chiar mi-a stricat, putin, generatia II. Dupa ce avusesem parte de Gardevoir, era greu sa ma intorc (desi Lugia si Suicune au ajutat).

Ma bucur foarte mult de anuntul facut azi, dar ma amuza cat de random a fost. Cele doua jocuri sunt, clar, cele mai importante jocuri pentru 3DS, de sarbatori. Din bun simt, asta era un anunt rezervat pentru E3. Pacat ca au trebuit sa-si prezinte situatia financiara azi. Dar va dati seama ce-a fost acolo: Iwata le spune investitorilor ca, in locul a 1,000,000,000 $ profit, o sa aiba pierderi de 200,000,000 $. Investitorii incep sa-l huiduie, arunca cu mancare dupa el, este nevoie de interventia garzilor. Iwata coboara de la pupitru, in fata oamenilor nemultumiti: "Please understand...bitchez!"

Probabil in functie de vanzarile din trecut, pe care le-a avut fiecare titlu in parte..poate ma insel, mai ales ca nu stiu statistica vanzarilor, dar m-am gandit ca poate asta ar fi motivul..

Oricum deabia astept sa apara, nu mai avem mult de asteptat (vreo 4 luni), dar timpul zboara repede :D

Pokemon fans woke to up to a pleasant surprise this morning, as the news broke that a beloved and (not so) top secret Ruby and Sapphire feature would be returning in their respective 3DS remakes.

According to an official Pokemon Company press release, players will be able to create their very own Secret Base deep underground and their fellow trainers will be able to pop in to say hi or even challenge them to a battle.

As players of the original Ruby and Sapphire know, a Secret Base can easily become a trainer's home away from, since it can be fully decorated and furnished to be meet their specific taste. Or better yet, they can turn the base into their own personal Pokemon Gym...of sorts. Trainers can fill their personally crafted battle space with mazes and traps to trip up their house guests, before squaring off in Pokemon battles shaped under their own rules!

But of course with Omega and Alpha being remakes, some improvements have been made to the Secret Base's secret formula, mostly in the way bases are shared with other players.

Trainers will be able to share their bases with other players via the Streetpass or if they need a more convenient method to invite their friends over for some super secret fun, they can send an invitation through a QR Code. But the fun doesn't end there. When visiting a Secret Base, players can mingle with other players who happen to be visiting the base at the same time and invite them over to their base through the new Secret Pals system.

Even if you're not the socializing type, you'll find having a lot of Secret Pals to be quite useful because each Pal has or her own special skill, which could be gifting new decorations for your base, allowing you to hatch Pokemon eggs faster, or to even raise the experience of a chosen Pokemon by one level!

This new spin on Secret Bases also brings with it a game of Capture the Flag...well, kinda. Flags are hidden in each base, and if you snatch one and bring it home to your base, you can use it to improve upon the special skills of your Secret Pals.

These designs are neat. While Mega Lopunny isn't the most radical redesign, the ridiculously long pigtail ears and those massive butterfly eyebrows are worth a chuckle. Speaking of which, Mega Altaria made me chuckle quite a bit the first time I saw it. It looks like a big fat goose that rolled around in a cotton candy machine. Mega Salamence on the other hand, is...I've got nothing. I don't know what to make of it. It looks bad-ass though!

Now onto the Pika cosplay news.

As you know, Pikachu's in Omega and Alpha can be all dolled up in adorable little costumes for the sake of looking extra cute in contests. However, these costumes also serve a much more useful purpose.

According to Serbeii.net's translation of CoroCoro's article, each costume will grant the player's Pikachu a special move. Special moves capable of delivering some devastating damage in the heat of battle.

For instance; Rock Star Pikachu can use Meteor Mash. Pikachu Ph.D can use Electric Terrain. Pop Star Pikachu can give its opponents a Draining Kiss. Y'all should also know that little old Pikachu Belle can put the freeze on opponents with Icicle Crash, and Pikachu Libre may not know a 1,000 holds, but it does know the Flying Press!

In related news, the magazine spread also mentions special contest costumes players can pick up for their avatars from a contest a idol named Lucia, an event in which players will be given a shiny Beldum with its mega stone, and the fact Mega Evolutions can be executed during contests, which will surely excite the judges. Oh and Feebas' evolution will be tied to contest events.

Whew. That's a lot of information. Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire should prove to be quite the Cut(HM) above the originals, when they are chosen on November 21.

Mie mi se pare o idee destul de buna, adica vei avea pokemoni mai diferiti, personalizati ca sa zic asa..de exemplu ai un Pikachu si intalnesti un trainer care are tot un Pikachu, care e diferenta, daca amadoi sunt la fel? de asta e nevoie de ceva schimbari, ca prea au fost dezbracati atata timp..as fi preferat mai mult sa se puna accentul pe armuri sau accesorii mai serioase, dar e bine si asa..iar daca nu iti place, probabil nici nu e nevoie sa iti imbraci Pokemonul :) in aceasta serie au fost acele episoade cand trebuia sa participi la contest si sa iti imbraci pokemonul, adica nu e ceva nou, doar ca acum e in battle si pare mai interesant..oricum, mi-e mi se pare interesanta si funny ideea..sa vedem ce-o fi :D
