The mainland European release of Two Worlds II will happen on 21st October, publisher Zuxxez announced today.
Many had expected the role-playing game on 28th September, although Zuxxez told Eurogamer Germany that date was Amazon's and never official.
Zuxxez has no say on what happens in the UK: SouthPeak calls the shots here. And SouthPeak will only commit to a "TBC" date for Two Worlds II, as reported yesterday.
Two Worlds II is developed by Polish studio Reality Pump for PC, Mac, PS3 and Xbox 360.

According to managing director James Seaman, the delay was merely to avoid the crowded holidays.
"Truth be told, fans only have so much time to spend playing these content-rich games, and there were concerns our title could potentially be lost in the fanfare," he says. "Our publishing partner SouthPeak, to their credit, has acknowledged this fact and made an adjustment, postponing their launch of Two Worlds II into early 2011."
Seaman has explicitly said that Southpeak's QA claims were "factually incorrect" and insists that there will be no difference between the European and North American releases, contrary to what the publisher led us to believe.
So, there's an awkward situation. It's somewhat likely at this stage that Southpeak "embellished" its earlier statements in order to dissuade customers from importing or pirating the European version. Let's face it though ... was there that many people who just couldn't wait for Two Worlds II that they'd rush to the import stores?
If this wasn't a mistake, it would probably be best to make sure everyone's in on the fib before you start telling it to everybody.

CEO of TopWare, Dirk Hassinger, revealed some issues with the release of Two Worlds II on the PlayStation 3 in a recent forum post. The post by Dirk says the following (roughly translated from German):“The PS3 version wasn’t delivered on schedule for release. We can choose our pressing plant for PC and 360, but unfortunately not for PS3. I’d preferably post the email and phone number of the lady responsible at Sony here. We’re hopping mad!”According to the several posts by Dirk Hassinger, the cause of his concern lies in Sony’s unwillingness to print the game on time. A press release by TopWare has made an appearance for both the Xbox 360 and PC platforms, but the PS3′s has been withheld. Has the delay of Gran Turismo 5 caused a lack of print availability at Sony’s printing plant? Rumors suggest that GT5 is currently being printed in mass quantities and should be out within the next month, so the merging of the two could have caused issues.
Two Worlds II has an expected release date of January 1st, 2011.

Originally due on January 25, it’ll now release on February 4.
The game launched back in November on PC for mainland Europe, where it’s since sold 1 million units.

Eu l-am luat din diverta, ca tot era asa ieftin de app 1 saptamana si m-am pus pe el, dar are niste faze aiurea si vreau sa stiu daca doar la mine e asa. desi am level destul de mare, cat timp merg pe "design path", pot sa-i omor pe toti, totul este ok. Cum ma abat de la acel "design path" si vreau sa explorez, ma omoara oricine, cu o singura lovitura.
In rest, jocul imi place. arata bine dpdv grafic, animatii bune, poveste buna. cred ca merita terminat.
Jocul arata cel mai bine pe PC, mai ales de la patch 1.1 care a adus DX10 support.
Cat despre veriunea de console, in ciuda majoritatii jocurilor multi-platform, varianta de PS3 arata cel mai bine (cu mult mai bine decat X360.
Eu am luat royal edition si m-am apucat de el pe PC... In multiplayer n-am intrat inca dar nu am gasit "faze ciudate" de gameplay.
Desi il am de anul trecut nu am jucat decat o saptamana, dar este un Action-RPG excelent.*
Mie mi-a placut sistemul de magie si de upgrade la arme si alchimia care te lasa sa faci cam ce vrei tu. Sunt o gramada de chestii ascunse care te incurajeaza sa explorezi si pe langa firul narativ principal.
De ex, vrei sa ajungi undeva sus. Poti sa-ti faci o potiune (daca ai ingredientele) si sa sari pana dai cu capul de cer sau te bazezi la magie si-ti faci o vraja care face acelasi lucru sau sa "conjuri" niste nicovale si te urci pe ele (lol). Asta am aflat intr-o pestera fara iesire, unde am sarit si nu era cale de intoarcere. Am dat load (ce sa fac) si mi-am facut vraja aia de jump ...
Desi prima data cand vezi harta si locul unde incepi pare ca este o lume imensa, cand ajungi in New Ashos esti de fapt la jumatatea jocului si marele continent din mijloc e pt misiunile din multiplayer... Pt multiplayer trebuie sa-ti faci caracter nou, si se transforma intr-un fel de MMO cu misiuni si o parte de city-buiding si pe mine inca nu m-a prins...
Imi place ca fiecare personaj vorbeste (si vocile nu sunt fortate, ba chiar sunt foarte profi, nu ca in primul) chiar si avatarul tau are propria voce cu care ma da cate o "vorba de duh" din cand in cand.
