Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2011) - Console Club - Page 0

Se stie de ceva vreme ca Infinity Ward, studioul din spatele ultra blockbuster-ului Modern Warfare 2 lucreaza la un sequel dar date concrete inca nu au fost confirmate. Acest lucru se pare ca se va schimba.
In 2009 Modern Warfare 2 a fost anuntat cu prilejul conferintei GDC iar producatorii se pare ca au inceput sa respecte un tipar intrucat a aparut o numaratoare inversa pana la teaser-ul ce se anunta a fi Modern Warfare 3, termenul final fiind chiar 1 martie adica una din cele mai "aglomerate" zile din cadrul GDC 2011. Zvonurile aparute includ faptul ca Infinity Ward, dupa scandalul post MW2 in care membrii Jason West si Vince Zampella au fost demisi, ar lucra in colaborare si cu alte studiouri. Cert este ca jocul va fi un succes din punct de vedere financiar urmand sa vedem daca noul Infinity Ward va fi capabil sa se ridice la nivelul impus de fostii sefi ai studioului.

Some times, some crimes go slipping through the cracks, and when that happens there's one gumshoe we can count on to pick up the slack: Dean (Hon.) Geoff Keighley. The Spike TV personality says he's unearthed the source of the FindMakarov.com teaser site and it couldn't be further from a Modern Warfare 3 announcement as we and many others assumed.

Keighley says the countdown was created by We Can Pretend, a Toronto-based group that supposedly working on a Call of Duty-inspired project of some sort. Keighley added "production sources who worked on the self-funded project call it visually spectacular."

We Can Pretend appears to be closely tied to VVO Media, the group that mailed out the mysterious dog tags that got this whole train rolling. On VVO's now-defunct portfolio page, it takes credit for marketing two We Can Pretend-created videos, "Doritos Tablet" and "Wateraid."

As Activision stated previously, the megapublisher doesn't appear to be involived, though we'll hopefully have all the details when the countdown ends on March 2.

Biggest Game of 2011? �h�m, tocmai �mi admir singur ceafa, arată bine.

Acuma, va fi sigur Biggest Game of 2011, cel putin din prisma vanzarilor. Primele informatii, desi semiconfirmate par sa arate ca Activision vrea sa le arate celor de la EA ca vor concura cu BF3.
Iar pe mine personal nu ma incanta sa vad doar un engine grafic/fizic nou. La fel de mult tam tam se facea si cu Medal of Honor, toti stim ce s-a ales de el. Daca engine-ul cod sufera doar imbunatatiri minore si ofera in continuare 60FPS aproape constant, vanzarile cel putin se mentin la acelasi nivel, de unde nevoia de schimbare?
Pana nu joc BF3 si MW3 nu ma pot declara in privinta superioritatii, dar momentan pun banii pe MW3.
