The survey that supposedly leaked potential details about the story may very well indeed be more accurate than we thought. The details therein pointed towards a separate story that’s completely unrelated to the adventures of Commander Shepard. The timeline could be before chronicling the first attempts at deep space exploration in this very universe, or it could be far afterwards featuring a completely new apologue.
Prequels and sequels are only such if their stories tie into the original content, so because of the massive and rich universe that is Mass Effect created by BioWare and Drew Karpyshyn, it’s possible to take advantage of the wide stage to have a familiar backdrop with distinct story elements. If they develop a story with the help of professional story tellers
Mass Effect 4 has been in development for quite some time and a lot of good work as supposedly been put into it. A lot of passionate work, in fact. Even though development is indeed their business, being passionate and enjoying the creation process can immensely help with the quality of the final product.
Mass Effect 4 is expected to be released sometime in 2016 for the PS4, Xbox One and the PC, and hopefully we’ll hear some great news about it at E3 happening later this month. The expectation is that EA and BioWare will want to tease some gameplay, or at least show us some screenshots of the work they’ve done.

Today we debuted the first cinematic trailer for our next game, Mass Effect™: Andromeda. While we are still many months away from the game’s release date in holiday 2016, we’re excited to show you a bit of where we’re at. First, though, some background on the game itself.

When we wrapped up the original Mass Effect trilogy with Mass Effect 3: Citadel in early 2013, planning and design on Mass Effect: Andromeda was already well underway. We knew we wanted to start with a foundation composed of the best parts of any Mass Effect game: exciting new worlds to discover, great characters, and intense action. At the same time, we clearly wanted to expand the definition of what you should expect from a Mass Effect game.

While we aren’t ready to go into too many details just yet, as you saw in the trailer and can tell by the name, this game is very much a new adventure, taking place far away from and long after the events of the original trilogy. You will play a human, male or female, though that’s actually not the character you saw in the trailer (more on that later). You’ll be exploring an all-new galaxy, Andromeda, and piloting the new and improved Mako you saw. And through it all, you will have a new team of adventurers to work with, learn from, fight alongside of, and fall in love with.

We built this trailer in Frostbite™, our game engine, and it represents our visual target for the final game. We are thrilled by what we’ve already been able to achieve in bringing Mass Effect to Frostbite and by putting our entire focus on PC and current gen consoles. With the time remaining in development, we’re excited about the possibility to push things even more.

Thank you again for all of the support you keep showing us, and we’re looking forward to sharing more details with you near the end of the year. N-au in plan sa scoata toata trilogia intr-un pachet remastered, probabil vor sa scoata cate un joc pe rand la pret full. Nu m-ar surprinde.

Acum îi urăsc și mai tare pe ăștia de la EA Pork, eu tot mai sper sa vad colecția pana lansează Andromeda, urât nume pt un joc btw :)

Dca îl pun Commander pe Dylan Hunt, eu nu ma supăr ;)

Mie mi-e cam frica de cum o sa iasa ME4. ME a avut personaje memorabile de care ne-am atasat cu totii...personaje care nu vor mai aparea in ME4 si mai mult ca sigur ca o sa compar personajele noi cu cele vechi si voi gasi o groaza de hibe. Eu personal mai tare as fi asteptat un ME 1-2-3 Remastered decat un ME nou. Va puteti imagina o quarian mai lovable decat Tali sau un turian mai cool decat Garrus? Ati vazut ce s-a ales de Assassins Creed post Ezio? V-ati mai atasat de vreun personaj? De Connor? De Arno? Eu personal nu. So...please Bioware...try not to F##k it Up! :-S

Și mie, mai ales ca domnul Casey Hudson ( Mass Effect, KOTOR )nu mai face parte din proiect, a plecat la Ms parcă

Foarte slabuta presentare au avut. Ma asteptam la mult mai mult sa arate si sa discute despre joc:(

A fost doar un teaser pentru ca probabil inca nu au ce sa arate.

Pai si atunci cum naiba sa credem noi ca se va lansa anul viitor cand nu au nimic playable?:| Uncharted au aratat 2 gameplay demos deja si tot anul viitor se lanseaza, si majoritatea jocurilor programate de lansare in 2016 au fost aratate cu un gameplay demo la acest E3

Sa inteleg ca voi preferati sa vedeti fie ceva gen Project Setsuna (adica doar niste slide-uri), fie ceva gen The Division (adica arata de-ti pica fata si in final primesti un joc cu grafica de PS3), fie CGI-uri care n-au nicio legatura cu jocul? Eu unul nu vreau sa vad prostioare d-astea... prefer sa-mi arate cu o luna-doua inainte ceva real... sau si mai bine, sa-mi dea un DEMO (un lucru care deja pare a deveni o minune). Cateodata prinde mai bine un teaser decat o minciuna. Parerea mea... care este!

Iar in trailerul de aproape 2 minute, eu zic ca au aratat suficient cat sa te faca sa spui "Godamnit! I really want it!". In plus, exista cineva care nu si-l cumpara?!?

P.S. Holliday 2016 nu inseamna doar anul viitor, ci cam peste un an si jumatate... Au timp suficient, ca doar e Bioware in spate :)
