Opinion: Why the PS4 controller is better than the Xbox One controller - Thrifty Nerd
So what’s better about the Dual Shock 4 you ask? Well first off, its a wider controller, in order to make room for the touchpad. They’ve stretched the thing out and made the handles longer. They’ve also made the handles at a better angle. It feels natural holding the controller. If you take your hands, put them a six inches apart in front of you and rest them in a natural position, thats about how you hold the controller. It really feels snug and secure in your hands. Then there’s the texture of the paint. It has a cross etched pattern on the bottom. While I didn’t play for hours, I can only assume the sweatiness issue should be greatly decreased. I noticed none at all playing for 30 minutes or so. The sticks have been improved as well. They have a crater in them that actually lets you have grip of the thumb stick. They also feel like they have more resistance than their predecessor. The triggers have also been redesigned. They are narrower, but they are also angled away from you now. Thus letting you get a good grip and pull on them. Every button feels like it is right under your fingertips ready to be accessed.
Sony Discussing the Possibility of a PS4 and Vita Bundle - Push Square
While the PlayStation Vita has struggled to make much commercial headway on its own steam, the portable looks set to be refreshed by the PlayStation 4. You’ll need one of the handhelds to get the most out of Sony’s next generation system, with features such as Remote Play vying for your attention. As such, some kind of bundle strikes us as the most natural thing in the world – and SCEE gaffer Jim Ryan has admitted that it’s something that the platform holder is thinking about.
“Sure, I mean it’s the sort of thing that we’re discussing,” he told EDGE magazine. “Now I’m not saying that we’re going to do it, but one of the things that I was pleased about [at GamesCom was] that we had the chance to really properly explain and demonstrate Remote Play. It was touched upon at the New York event and it was touched upon at E3, but there was so much other stuff going on that it didn’t really get the time that I think that it warranted.”
Earlier in the year, a slew of rumours suggested that the platform holder is actually planning to introduce a hardware bundle featuring both systems for $500, but Ryan wouldn’t confirm the speculation. “Clearly, finding ways for consumers to access both devices is a logical thing to do,” he conceded. “Whether you put them together in a bundle, that’s one way of doing it – you might get a bit of a problem with the price, but there are a variety of ways and means to do that and it’s definitely something that we’re talking about.”
Thanks Sony!

Atata timp cat are eticheta CE, altfel e ilegal.
Adica merg. Doar in eventualitatea unor DLC-uri ai nevoie de cont corespunzator zonei jocului.

Sony set to go big with virtual reality on PlayStation 4 • News • PlayStation 4 • Eurogamer.net
Sony plans to enter the virtual reality gaming space in a big way with PlayStation 4, Eurogamer can reveal.Multiple sources have indicated to Eurogamer that Sony's VR headset will work similarly to Oculus'. Internally, the device has been demonstrated with Evolution Studios' PS4 racer DriveClub, with players able to look around the cockpit of a car.Sony also has form with headmounted displays. The £1000 HMZ-T2 is a personal 3D viewer that can be used with 3D games and HD movies. It includes an OLED 720p panel for each eye that renders 3D pictures in high-contrast detail. There also remains the possibility that both Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony may facilitate Oculus Rift compatibility with their consoles, and Oculus is often asked about potential deals with first parties.
"They're a little busy," Malamed told Eurogamer. "We've chatted, but they're trying to bring their new consoles out. It's a possibility - it would work. It's the same thing as iOS - it could technically work, but the business side isn't there."
