Nu ai înţeles bine, in aprilie-mai s-ar putea sa ne arate cutia si sa anunţe o data de lansare. Eu cred ca in iunie la E3 o sa vedem si consola si o sa avem si o data concretă.
Rumor: Sony planning April/May PlayStation 4 event - Gematsu
Sony will hold a second PlayStation 4 reveal event later this month or early May, according to a PCMag.com source “familiar with the company’s marketing strategy.”
The event, according to the site, will be a “full-blown launch” of the system, and act as Sony’s final venue for PlayStation 4 discussion before the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June.
PlayStation 4 was announced at a New York City press event on February 20 and is due for release this holiday. Sony has yet to pin an exact date or price on the system, or reveal its launch lineup.

Pentru ca e una sa scoti un joci *exclusiv* pentru PS3 si e alta sa scoti un joc pentru PS3/XBOX 360/PC. Teoretic poti optimiza la sange si jocurile multiplatform, practic e foarte dificil, mai ales cand ai de respectat si niste deadline-uri.
Si probabil asta e unul din motivele principale pentru care Sony trece pe x86, jocurile vor fi mult mai usor de portat pe PS3. Nu mai zic ca si XBOX-ul va avea un hardware foarte asemanator (AMD), deci va fi mult mai usor pentru companii sa faca jocuri multiplatform.
Asta era teoria și pentru Vita..

Of course, this should be treated as pure rumor and speculation at this point, seeing as how we are not privy to any official info regarding Sony’s marketing budget.
Still, it makes for an interesting topic when you compare it to other marketing efforts. For example, back in 1999 SEGA had $100 million for the Dreamcast, which when adjusted for inflation ranks at around $130 million today.
More recently, Nintendo’s Wii had a budget of around $200 million, and triple-A titles such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Grand Theft Auto IV boasted ~$200 and ~$100, respectively.

Eu cred ca PS4 mai poate fi optimizat.
Toti idiotii de pusti au comentat la clipul asta pe youtube, spunand ca ce "crap/****" e PS4 fata de PC in 2013. Au uitat saracii ce diferenta de geld este intre cele 2 "cutii".

Eu n-am observat nicio ipostaza in care versiunea PS4 arata mai bine decat cea PC. Spre sfarsit anumite detalii sunt clar vizibile in versiunea PS4 si mai putin pe PC doar pentru ca la v. PS4 nu vedem anumite efecte de iluminare globala, speculara si depth of field, probabil de asta v. PS4 pare a avea un contrast mai bun (insa mai putine detalii per total).
Oricum, e un tech demo, va mai trece mult timp pana sa vedem un joc cu o asemenea bogatie de detalii, indiferent de platforma. Sigur ca pot optimiza, PS4 nici nu s-a lansat inca, au tot timpul din lume.
