    hmm e posibil ca bugul cu banii lips sa nu se manifeste la toata lumea? am parca level 13 si cred ca am primit toti banii in cont pt fiecare level plus curse castigate. am vreo 800.000$ si am bagat vreo 150.000 in upgrades. drept e ca n-am cumparat decat un 135i si un evo IX. pe mine ma deranjeaza ca nu pot vinde masinile primite ca reward. pai daca e premiu ar trebui sa fac ce vreau cu el.

    Pe de alta parte, cand iesi pe logul 1 in Autolog cu o masina mult mai slaba decat a prietenilor...

    Sa stii ca nici eu nu am patit bug cu banii. De obicei, la buguri de genul asta, care se manifesta la cate un om, ar trebui reluata campania. La NHL 10, de exemplu, nu imi contoriza punctele inscrise, a trebuit sa reiau de la inceput.

    Am vazut ca multi sunt cu problema asta pe forumurile de afara. Nu ma apuc iar de campanie. Daca nu merge, nu merge. Pai am scos timpi mai buni cu anumite masini mult mai slabe. Sau apropiati.

    am primit si banii la level 14. sa vedem ce mai e. Sunt foarte multumit de joc. Grafica e pe gustul meu iar feeling-ul la condus e superb. Trebuie putina obisnuinta cand treci de la GT5 pt ca acolo reactiile sunt altfel la masina cat si la volan. Dar dupa aceasta obisnuinta poti sa faci o redresare dintr-o supravirare si in Shift 2. Singurul lucru care nu imi iese este driftul. Cu volanul tot timpul ma rasucesc si fac cate 2-10 puncte la un derapaj, foarte putin. dar poate ma obisnuiesc.

    Imi plac masinile puternice in joc. Am observat (cred ca o sa ma repet) ca poti strica relativ foarte repede o masina buna stock, daca ii faci upgrade excesiv si un tuning gresit. Cel mai bine e sa faci niste teste cu masina standard iar daca e ok, sa ii imbunatatesti pneurile, frana, drivetrain si ultimul lucru, sa umbli la motor.

    Porsche-ul de mai jos e noua mea masina favorita. E stabil, are putere suficienta - aproape 600 HP. Si M6 era rapida, dar se simtea cam greoaie, datorita masei proprii foarte mari. Acum am pus ochii pe un Radical, sa vad cum fac cu banii . Apropo ...voi pe ce dificultate jucati cu AI? eu pe normal dar si asa mi se par foarte competitivi

    AI-ul e criminal. O sa iti dau cateva recomandari via autolog sa vezi ce oribil e. Sunt cateva curse care efectiv sunt imposibil de castigat datorita AI-ului prea precis.

    Cu toate curbele mastered si numai depasiri curate, fara sa lovesc adversarii, cu level 2 nitrous pentru portiunile drepte e imposibil de obtinut locul 1 pe una din cursele de la japan retro. Am incercat cu enshpe mii de masini de la D-class la A tunate cu precizie sau stock, nu reuseam nimic. Si mai presus de toate daca ieseam in decor din cauza unui eventual contact sau a unei greseli imi dadea "First Warning time will not pe posted on the wall". Cea mai frustranta cursa din toate pe care le-am jucat.

    In curand trec si eu la Modern B si inca ma gandesc ce masina sa imi cumpar. Am 600k dolari si aproape jumate din masini cumparate (cele ieftine), pe care nu le-am modificat. Acum ma gandesc care e solutia ideala pentru clasa B. Sa raman la Lancer IX? Sa iau R8? Nici nu stiu... ma tenteaza chiar sa incerc sa modific Camaro-ul pentru ca am o mica pasiune pentru Muscle cars mai nou. Am sa fac si eu niste poze dupa ce ma decid

    AI-ul este foarte agresiv si te scoate de pe traseu fara ezitare. Au fost curse pe care a trebuit sa le castig miseleste lovind usor masina de pe locul 1 in una din ultimele curbe ale traseelor, pana atunci stand pe locul 2 si mergand la aspiratie. Joc pe elite/hard si am vazut ca alegand sa conduc doar clean e foarte greu de batut ai-ul care pe deasupra are si masini mai bune (vina mea pt ca imi cumpar masinile in baza sentimentalismelor ). Oricum ai-ul face toti banii, nici nu se compara cu cel din gt5.

    Imi vin 2 idei in minte. ori masina works, ori setat final drive pe 0, vitezele pe 0 toate sa ai cea mai buna acceleratie sa le lasi in urma. O sa incerc si eu cursele astea.

    Jocul e garbage total!Masinile aluneca in curbe de parca ar fi niste saniute,unele nici nu le poti controla;despre drifturi nici nu mai vorbesc.Cu siguranta au platit sa primeasca note bune la review'uri.Inca o data:garbage total.

    Plimba ursul ca nu ai dreptate. Merg si drifturi facute. Prinde ceva viteza si ai sa reusesti. Masinile se upgradeaza....
    E super jocul dar nu in primele 30 mins. Acorda-i mai mult timp

    Sincer eu cred ca e balanta perfecta intre forza 3/gt5 si burnout/hot pursuit. Mi se pare ca e primul joc ce are ca tinta gamerii casual/slightly hardcore dupa GRID. Eu sunt la 30% din career si sunt foarte multumit de joc. Ramane in colectie, GARANTAT!

    sunt la 28% am facut drift eventurile in mare parte insa la event 9 din 10 la ultimul chalange nu pot sa scot nici macar un loc 3 , am incercat 2 ore si intr-un final am spart bluray diskul de nervi.mentionez ca am incercat cu vreo 12 masini.tot nu-mi schimb parerea despre joc.

    I KNOW, RIGHT?!?! Maxim de frustrare mai ales cand patesc asta pe finalul cursei. Pana una alta nu joc sa iau locul 1 ci joc ca sa va bat voua timpii scosi pe traseul respectiv

    Hi,

    My name is Martin Griffiths and I'm PC Lead on SHIFT 2 Unleashed. I'm going to use this post to give you some background on our engine and what's coming up in the first patch.

    SHIFT 2 has a completely new engine which is a deferred, light pre-pass renderer. A basic overview of this rendering method can be found at Deferred shading - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia .

    Our deferred renderer is far from basic though - the rendering team at SMS has about 100 man years of render coding between us, and we used some of the most advanced techniques that are known at this time. We did our best - so it's sometimes disappointing after so many late nights to see flippant remarks, over constructive criticism.

    So, this new engine allowed us to do cool things such as the night racing that would have been very difficult with an old style forward renderer. With deferred rendering the lighting stage is separate from the geometry stage(s) and hardware anti-aliasing like MSAA in a basic form won't produce correct results. Solutions to allow us to anti-alias had to be found - we came up with two methods to balance AA processing cost/quality over a wide range of PCs. A very large amount of time was spent on this and while some other developers just choose to do a post-pass edge detection filter we weren't satisfied with that, the 'HIGH" method for example was 3 months of R&D.
    There are lots of 'tips' about overriding the AA mode - doing this will produce problems with lighting at edges and will also break other lighting components like Bloom, giving a visual look that we didn't intend. If you prefer the look with a driver over-ride then we've no problem with that - but the graphics team wanted a consistent look and feel, to do the many artists who created the tracks and cars justice.

    There has been some confusion that our anti-aliasing uses the CPU - it does not. In the graphics options the 'Normal' mode uses MSAA with a special sampling trick to produce correct results at triangle edges - the 'HIGH' method extends this with a depth based search which requires a GPU with high bandwidth because the shaders are sampling many depth pixels for each pixel in the scene. Any performance issue on particular hardware is down to the characteristics of that GPU - there isn't anything we can do about this without a driver update.

    To better balance very high-end CPUs the patch will include a 3rd anti-aliasing method which is CPU based - MLAA. We are working with Intel R&D to add this. On quad-core (and above) systems this will allow AA without any GPU cost and little impact to the frame rate to what you see when running with AA turned off currently. This will also help AMD based quad-core too.

    Some people have noted that the game doesn't scale well with SLI/Crossfire - SLI performance scaling doesn't just automagically happen, it requires quite close collaboration with the GPU makers. We've been in regularly contact with NVidia and ATI throughout the development of the game, with their performance teams feeding back on any areas where we could improve, pooling our expertise with theirs. About 6 weeks of programmer time was spent pre-shipping on SLI/Crossfire scaling - we needed another 4 weeks since we went gold because of the complexity of implementing this in such a large engine. Both GPU makers have devoted a lot of time to some complex issues.

    So yes, the upcoming patch includes SLI/Crossfire scaling. To give you an example a GTX 295 will go from 48fps to nearly 70fps in 1080p. Also the rendering team found some further optimizations so that normal (non SLI) graphics performance should be 5-10% faster with the patch.

    Input lag - we've solved the latency issues reported using some wheels. There was a dead-zone issue and a threading problem introduced very late in development that have been fixed. (asta ma interesa pe mine)

    Garage screen crashes/CTDs - a fast button press issue that wasn't seen during development is also fixed in the patch.

    A black screen issue on starting a race requiring a pause/unpause to fix is also addressed. This was caused by a timing difference with the protection system.

    NVision - some reverse/double stereo issues with the mirrors and environment maps have been addressed in the patch. NVidia very kindly provided us with more hardware for the render team to address this - Kudos to them for that.

    There are also some more minor fixes in the patch - the above represent the vast majority. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to ask in this thread and I'll do my best to reply.
