Madden NFL 11 250GB PS3 Bundle Surfaces at Best Buy

Today Kotaku (linked above) has reported that a new Madden NFL 11 250GB PS3 bundle has surfaced at retailer Best Buy which may interest sports fans.

Not surprisingly, just a few days ago a Madden NFL 11 PSP bundle was also officially announced by Sony.

To quote: "If you're finally ready to jump into PlayStation 3 ownership and plan on doing so with a copy of Madden NFL 11, wait for the bundle.

BB's listing a Madden NFL 11 250GB PS3 bundle with the same street date as the main game, Aug. 10. Right now, it's listed in a dead category in Best Buy's database.

That's typically done to mask a product from searches before it's been officially announced the tipster says."

So it appears the Playstation 3’s original design wasn’t based on the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey after all. This is the Parks Building in Osaka, Japan, and it appears awesomely similar to the “God of Consoles” version of the PS3. We’re waiting on confirmation on whether or not the building does “everything” as we expect.

All kidding aside, the similarity from this angle is a pretty cool one (funny as well).

Salutare! Mi-am facut un card Visa la BRD si as dori sa cumpar cu el de pe ps store US. Cardul l-am primit azi, m-am dus la un ATM am activat cardul totul este ok! Cand am ajuns acasa am incercat sa introduc datele cardului pe ps store si nu merge.Am introdus datele corect,fara loc intre cifre. Trec de prima parte si ma duce la urmatoarea chestie unde te intreaba adresa. Am lasat adresa care era acolo de cand am facut contul. Am dat next si mi-a aparut o casuta in care zice ca nu-i valid. Am mai incercat de cateva ori sa reintroduc datele corect dar fara succes.Fac ceva gresit?Mentionez ca deocamdata nu am bani pusi pe card.

avand cont de US automat si adresa ta de resedinta este tot de US....in timp ce cardul este facut in Romania. Deasemenea ai grija ca din cate stiu inainte sa dadeau ban-uri daca foloseai carduri romanesti pentru ca se prindeau ca adresa profilului este una falsa.

Cumpara cu incredere carduri de PSN pentru US......asa scapi si de o grija (nu iei ban) si te duce la aceeasi suma cheltuita.

Whilst Groupola�s Managing Director, Mark Pearson has pinned this swing in the favour of Move on Kinect�s high-end �129.99 price tag, Dr Richard Marks, creator of the PlayStation Move technology and former Sony EyeToy, believes it is to do with the limitations of controller-less gaming.

Speaking exclusively with T3, Dr Marks said: �I think it depends if you believe that controller-less is necessarily better which I don�t believe. I created the technology for EyeToy which we made a controller-less device and it was really neat and it enabled new things but it is not the end-all, be-all in control, we entered limits with that and I think without a controller you run into limits of what you can enable.�

He added: �You can do things like track the whole body, you can have dancing and exercise but a lot of the core gameplay ideas that we want to see happen and want to enable just weren�t possible with only a camera. We would have done that, we look at as much as we could do with just a camera but it wasn�t the right choice we felt.�

UK Channel 4 Interested in Bringing 4oD Service to PlayStation 3

A few months back we reported that ITV was in talks with Sony, and today TechRadar.com (linked above) reports that UK Channel 4 is interested in bringing their 4oD on-demand service to the PlayStation 3 entertainment system as well.

If 4oD was available on the PS3, fans would be able to view popular shows on demand including Skins, Father Ted and Come Dine With Me amongst others.

An unnamed source from Channel 4 has recenrly revealed to Broadcast Magazine that they are seeking to launch on the PS3 platform.

To quote: "Channel 4 is in talks with Sony to bring video on demand service 4oD to the PlayStation 3 and is also developing an iPad app. A report in Broadcast magazine reveals that talks are already ongoing, suggesting that they are still in the early stages.

Although the BBC iPlayer has already been a huge hit on the PS3 Channel 4's service would be the first commercial arrival. 'We're looking to launch on the PS3,' a source told Broadcast Magazine."

avid Kaye, the voice of Ratchet and Nathan Hale in Insomniac's Ratchet & Clank and Resistance franchises, recently got interviewed by Ian Fisher from Shogun Gamer: Video Game News Community: Interviews, News, Reviews and Forum. He was asked if he would be reprising any roles in upcoming projects like Nathan Hale from the Resistance Franchise, his response:


This means that David doesn't know if he will be returning as Nathan Hale in Resistance 3. Because of this, there is a slight possibility that Insomniac may be recasting Nathan in Resistance 3 (Eg. Cole in inFamous 2). There has also been speculation that Insomniac has handed quite a bit of development of Resistance 3 to an internal Sony studio.

Nush voi dar io nu am problele cu a mea merge foarte bin desi soacte o caldura de la iarna imi opresc caloriferul ca nu mai am nevoie de el ca de am ps3 lol . Nici un freez sau altceva merge foarte bine nu scoate zgomot . Ma gandesc sa imi iau un cooler si un xfps pt ca la shootere nu ma pot obisnui cu controlorul ps3 . Am un model Slim 250 GB + GOW 3 ( am dat 1.500 lei din Carrefou 2 ani garantie , ca jocuri am urmatoarele : GOW3 , Bayonetta , Uncharted 2 , Darksiders , Dante`s Inferno , GTA 4 , Kilsszone 2 , Bad Company 2 , Prototype .)

Dar am o intrebare am auzit ca FragFX cam face lag in multiplayer si stanga-dreapta nu merge bine din cauza la fps . Se merita sa imi cumpar un Xfps ?? . Chear vreau mouse pe ps3-ul meu . Si app de ps3 nu vreau sa risc un razboi pe forum dar adevarul e ca ps3 e mult mai bun ca xbox ( scuze pt facii xbox ) chear si noul model Xbox ,, Slim '' iesit acum cateva saptamani . Statisticile arata ca xbox are 50 % rate to fail si ps3 are doar 10% iar wii are 6% totusi cei de la SONY au cam rezolvat problema cu Harduer Failure incepand cu anii 2007-2008 si asta nu o spun doar eu au spus-o si expertii : ( aceasta este prima parte din runda finala Xbos vs ps3 de pefeferat sa va uitati la toate ca sa intelegeti ceva ! ) . am si eu o intrebare.de curand mi-am luat un router wireles asus WL-520cg si vreau sa-l conectez la ps3..dar e o prob.modemul meu il am in camera iar ps3-u este in sufragerie.ce pot sa fac ca sa ma conectez?am net de la romtelecom de 6mb..vreau sa spun cum sa instalez routeru sa mearga la ps3 ca ptr.calculator am facut testul si mi-a mers routeru da ca sa imi mearga si la ps3 trebuie sa am routeru acolo deci si modemu....

Damn sad, asa joc merita sa vada lumina zilei. Mi-a placut foarte mult intensitatea la care se petrece actiunea. Inca odata pacat.

Nu trebuie sa fie in aceeasi camera, conectezi PS3-ul wireless la rooter. Creez o conexiune noua pe PS3 si alegi la tip wireless dupa care urmezi pasii.

Rooter-ul trebuie sa aiba conexiunea wireless activa si de preferat protejata, recomand securitate de tip WPA.

Daca ai PS3, banui ca asta ai, asteapta sa apara Move va fi mult mai fiabil decit orice xfps sau fragFX. Va avea si suport oficial, unele jocuri existente vor putea folosi Move prin intermediul unui patch, iar cele noi vor avea implementat nativ suportul.

Un prieten are un PS3 adus din America, deci cu cablu alimentare 110V. Daca schimb cablu si pun unul de alimentare de PC si bag in priza la 220V nu pusca corect?
Si apropo, cat mai merge un PS3 80Gb, nefolosit, 2 manete?

Uita-te pe spate ce scrie. Si eu am din state si pe a meu scrie doar 110V. Daca scrie 110-240V e dual voltage si ajunge sa schimbi cablul. Daca e ca al meu, strict 110V, iti tre' transformator. Daca ii 80Gb banuiesc ca-i dual voltage. La slimurile noi cred ca au scos.
