I first headed to my local Best Buy to see if any of the 80gb PS3s ($299) were in stock. I went to the location of the PS3 systems to find this.
I then asked an employee if they had any PS3 systems in stock and he immediately said that they had flown off of the shelves this morning, but he checked inventory anyway. He found that there were none of the 80gb PS3s left, but there were still three of the 160gb PS3s.
I then decided to hit my local Target in the same shopping center and they told me that they had four of the 160gb PS3s in stock but none of the 80gb PS3s. Lastly, I ran into my local GameStop and they had only one 160gb PS3 and none of the 80gb PS3s.

1) Sony's PS3 Slim Carries Updated Cell Chip by PC World: Yahoo! Tech

The gaming console, introduced on Tuesday, is a slimmer and lighter version of older PS3 consoles. It carries a 120GB hard drive, which is an upgrade from the 80GB of storage offered in the earlier PS3. The console will sell for US$299 and become available on September 1.

Sony has made some enhancements under the hood to boost its processing speed and power efficiency. The gaming console will carry an upgraded version of the Cell microprocessor, which is being jointly developed by IBM, Sony and Toshiba.

In an interview with the editors of 9lives left Sony Computer Entertainment means that the long-awaited EyePet not only bundled with the PlayStation Eye is. Owners of a PlayStation 3 already available on the PlayStation game camera will also be separate purchases. Price EyePet only is 29.99 euros or 49.99 euros by PlayStation Eye included.

Nu stiu daca postez unde trebuie dar am o problema si am zis sa nu deschid un thread nou.
Deci eu vreau sa imi iau PS3 ( sau alta consola next-gen , dar prefer PS3) si nu reusesc niciodata sa imi conving parintii. Ei zic ca nu ai ce face cu o consola daca ai PC. Am incercat prima data sa le spun ca jocurile mai tari sunt doar pe consola ( niciunul din ei nu joaca jocuri video ) si au zis ca vin si pe PC mai incolo . Dupaia am zis ca o consola samane "tanara" multi ani mai mult decat un PC ( eu oricum nu am un PC performant) la asta a zis tata ca schimba memoria la calculator si se rezolva ( asta m-a facut sa rad tare) .Dupaia am incercat sa le spun ca o consola e mult mai ieftina decat un PC bun si au zis ca da asa e dar cu un PC poti face multe lucruri . Si nu stiu ce nu le-am zis dar raspunsul lor a fost NU . Si vreau sa imi dati voi cat mai multe motive de convingere dar vreau foarte convingatoare , logice , legale si moralelol . Pentru ca ei sunt atat de incuiati si de anti console incat nu ii poti cumvinge cu ceva ilogic , ilegal si imorallol .
Va rog ajutati-ma ca sunt suparat de nu mai stiu de mine. !!!!

P.S. : eu am aproape banii mai am nevoie decat de vreo 300 lei.

baga placa aia ca daca iti iei consola nu vei mai fi nevoit sa upgradezi pc in fiecare an si nu vei mai chltui astfel bani si ca o consola are o viata mai lunga decat un pc, zile ca toti copii si aia de clasa a iv-a au console si tu nu, da cel mai important lucru este sa nu le spui cat costa un joc, le zici ca le iei gratis de pe net ca daca aud pa pa consola.Dar slabe sanse sa iti cumpere mai bine apucate de munca si ti-o iei singur ca varianta parinti o sa cada

Mai bine un 360. E mai ieftin și merge să le tragi de pe net. Nu te băga la PS3 dacă nu ai bani de 1 joc/lună sau prieteni de la care să �mprumuți. Părerea mea...
